Found this place on Yelp after getting the run around at the dealer. What a great experience. Very transparent, highly skilled and knowledgeable, and excellent communication. From now on I will be getting regular transmission service performed here. Much better than dealers who just want to replace everything.

Allen at Kwik Shift was amazing. We were referred to him by another mechanic for our transmission replacement (2014 GMC Sierra). Had the truck towed to him on a Friday after hours and it was ready Monday end of day!! He communicated the entire process and came in at exactly what he quoted, significantly less expensive than others. Thank you Allen and team!!!

My husband had a great experience recently with Alan at Kwik Shift. We needed a transmission replacement for one our vehicles and were asking around for quotes. The most reasonable pricing was from Alan. He provided very quick service and was very responsive. Within a couple days, the replacement was complete and the car has been running great since. Highly recommend Kwik Shift!

Spoke with Alan upon arriving, i discussed the issue im having with my car. And he explained everything to me in detail. A very honest and reputable business. He saved me alot! Other shops suggest replacing the transmission altogether, and some didnt even want to do anything when i said i have transmission porblems. My car is a 2006 Infiniti FX35. Thanks Alan

Alan at Kwik Shift is a Grand Master @ transmission repair. My wife's 2004 Five Series BMW developed a hesitation when accelerating. Our regular repair shop determined it was the transmission. They suggested taking it into the BMW dealer as they don't work on transmissions. That was a waste of time. The dealers suggestion (after having the car for 6 days), was to replace the transmission at a cost of more than $10,000. My reply was to forget it. I picked the car up, drove to Quik Shift. Alan drove the car with me in it to get a feel for what it was doing and had a couple ideas what was causing it. We left the car with him. The very next day he called in the afternoon and said he had good news. He had determined what part(s) were faulty, replaced them and it operates as good as ever. The total cost was less than 1/5 of what the BMW dealer wanted. I don't wish transmission issues on anyone, but if you get them, no one is better than Alan in determining the possible cause of the problem, then doing the work, getting it done and his prices are really reasonable.

Alan is an honest, straight shooter who really knows his stuff. My 2008 Mazda 3 started having shifting issues a couple of weeks after I bought it. Alan did a free test drive to diagnose the issue, and then patiently and extensively talked me through options and pricing before starting work on it. He was able to repair the tranny and fix the issue, but during his final test drive he noticed it was starting to recur when he drove it harder. So he said he wouldn't charge me and recommended I trade the car in rather than put more money into it since Mazdas are known to have tranny issues. Basically he was looking out for me even though he could have made more money by continuing to try other options. Even though my car wasn't completely fixed, I appreciated Alan's time in chasing down the problem and giving me straight up advice. Highly recommend!!!

My 2007 Chevy Tahoe's transmission conked out on me on a freeway flyover. I had to tow it somewhere. I was informed that there was a shortage of 4 wheel drive transmissions. I waited 2 weeks going on 3, waiting for word on available transmissions. After some advice from coworkers, I had it towed to Kwik Shift Transmissions. The first thing they recommended was repairing the transmission, rather than waiting for one to become available in 4 to 6 weeks. I dropped it off on Saturday. They started working on it on Monday. It was ready on Wednesday. It drives like a dream. Alan at Kwik Shift Transmissions is friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. If you want your transmission done right, I highly recommend Kwik Shift Transmissions! I forgot to mention that the cost of repairing it was much less than the cost to replace it. Thank you Kwik Shift Transmissions!

After performing a full diagnosis on my Lexus 8 speed transmission he got right back to me with a repair solution Transmissions are so complicated.
