Please do not serve me cold french fries! For what consumers now pay, serve fries hot, not room temperature. Will never visit this place again!

Dietary restrictions: They're so close to having vegan options with vegan burgers and portobello sandwiches, but their only bread offered was an egg bun.Staff does not seem to be aware of what is vegan, when asked if the portobello can be made vegan, offering to use the vegan patty (rather than the egg bun or sauce).I do not recommend the lettuce wrap, it was a bunch of lettuce but not really wrapped. So much lettuce that it drowned out the mushroom.

Food is good and the prices are okay - maybe on the higher end. Our table was the second group sat for dinner and by the time we were able to give our order the restaurant was half full so there was a wait from the kitchen. Our waiter also seemed to be out of sight when needed to come by for soda refills or a second round from the bar even though we were sitting next to it. A lost opportunity for the bartender but oh well. May come back for lunch when there is a smaller crowd.

Chef AJ in the house. As a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, I have an eye for talented people, hospitality, and food. The owner's philosophy permeates this local eatery. I believe it is one of Pleasanton's most welcoming establishments. If you've never been go. Once you are paying your bill. I hope you'll think about the next time you'll be returning. I've been struck so profoundly by everyone there I've placed it, and two of the bartenders in my upcoming book. Poetry & Recipes from the Bumpy Road Less Traveled.

This is my favorite spot to eat and grab a drink in Pleasanton. The staff is very friendly and the bartenders are amazing. I highly recommend this establishment. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My go to are the Reuben sandwich and the Cubano (with an egg on it).Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options are available.Parking: There is parking in the back as wellAs the front lot.Kid-friendliness: There is a family atmosphere at this restaurant. They have high chairs and seat boosters.Wheelchair accessibility: Tithe entrance and te outside seating are easily wheelchair friendly.

I ordered the hangover burger and the fries goat cheese and beets appetizer. I thought the hangover was good but nothing special and I would definitely order the goat cheese and beets appetizer again.I thought the restaurant was quiet and allowed for easy conversation, however, the service was not ideal. Our waters/drinks were not refilled, we weren't offered to go boxes, and the server was not knowledgeable about the sides. Additionally, they didn't let us know until after that a 20% tip was automatically added to any split check.I'd go again, but order to go.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger.

Tasty burger and very good selection of premium craft beers on tap. Provided great service too? Will try to make it back the next time I'm in the area ?

First time there for a couple drinks catching up with an old friend. Nice atmosphere and heated patio. Menu looked good. Will go back for dinner next time I’m in town.

They hire the nicest kids to work there. I like the outdoor seating. It's good pub food. It's one of my favorite downtown spots.

Was there to meet a friend and I’m not local there. The place looks nice and clean. It had strange chlorine smell from cleaning that was very strong to levels of off putting. We chose to sit outside. The beer selection was very main stream and not much of interesting stuff. The food had vegan label available, but very few options. Even the beyond burger was with something that made it not vegan. It didn’t advertise as vegan place and it is not.The service was nice, but very slow. It cool to give people time to make up their mind, but food usually arrives sooner. I started to wonder where’s the beer.It has its own parking lot.

Food was yummy! Service could use a little work though as they had to come back a couple times due to forgetting things.

Came back after some time, and it's still great. We sat inside this time. I had the crab cakes small plate that tasted homemade - very fresh and well seasoned. My wife had the bacon burger with mushrooms and swiss and a side of garlic fries - she loved it. Her mom had the steak skewers and we shared the tots with cheese and bacon. Everything was great tasting and we had excellent service. Sidetrack has interesting selections, a little pricey but I think the quality of food and ingredients merits the prices.
