“What a nice thrift store this is. Employees are very nice and helpful. Lots to choose from in the two locations (right across the parking lot from each other). One had clothing, home goods, jewelry & books and the other building has furniture and paintings etc. making donations is easy too. We were sad that the location in Fremont closed down about a year ago but have liked going out to Pleasanton and exploring a different location. Prices are good!”

“I’ve shopped a lot at thrift shops and Plato’s Closet in Pleasanton has a great selection and prices. I’ve found dressy, casual, hiking gear and super fun jackets, you name it! I’m kinda surprised by the reviews and their complaints.”

“I had a heavy used three wheel walker to donate. The lady that was helping with donations was extremely helpful and very friendly. Since I don’t walk well she got the walker out of back of SUV and brought a receipt out to me. I’ll be back!”

“I always always find nice brand name clothes, shoes and household items and accessories such as scarfs and purses. They have an excellent selection and the prices are good. They usually have colored tags sales where certain items are a percentage off.”

“My friends and I will make occasional trips out to Livermore from Hayward to donate our best items to this wonderful ministry which provides support to disadvantaged women and children. It's a small store, so they may not be able to take everything if you have a lot, so plan accordingly. Then we go inside their clean and well cared for little shop to find some treasures, and usually do! After that, it's a great time for a lunch date together. Pass it on!”

“We were in the area and stop by. The looks like such a fun store. It's small but they have a lot of stuff. The prices were reasonable for the cool things they were selling. We purchased a few cool unique items right in time for Christmas highly recommend stopping by.”

“Organized store. Every department was clean and organized. Aisles had enough space and were wide enough to maneuver. Prices were OK kind of in the middle on most items. Staff was indifferent not welcoming by any means.”

“Sometimes find a good deal, other times just dig through clothes and little nicknacks and other items... Savers is a pretty decent store and I think at the very least they do a better job of managing their business than other big chain thrift stores. The people I have interacted with here are friendly, and the folks at the donation center are especially nice and helpful.”
