Loved this little bookshop! Came across it while running errands in the area. Decent selection of books, organized, and had a pretty big section of young adult/children's books in the back portion of the store. The staff was friendly, and the girl who rang me up was so sweet! She definitely validated my purchase haha. The prices were pretty standard for an independent bookstore, but we're all for supporting small businesses so it's well worth it! A must visit if you're exploring Pleasanton!

Towne Center books is my favorite local bookstore. The employees are always incredibly helpful and friendly. The book selection is great, especially considering the store manages to maintain a small, cozy charm.

Love this place! One of the few remaining real bookstores, and they pack the equivalent of a massive big brand bookstore into a quaint little location – – with great recommendations, events, and much more. The best

Great staff, good selection of books. It is limited but they are so great about special ordering books as well. Wish there was a bigger bilingual section in kids section or one in the main part of store

I love this bookshop! I try to purchase from Independent booksellers and small businesses. Sometimes I have to use that other online place but that is only if I cannot find it at Towne Center or at the Independent Booksellers online. Towne Center has an online ordering process that makes it easy for me to find and order what I want. I can then pick it up when it comes in. They are quick on letting me know when the books arrive as well as status of any remaining items in my order. Each time I go to the store, I find so much more. Their prices are what is listed on the book. Yes that can be expensive but that money supports soo many people who are in the book production process that sometimes you just gotta take the hit :) or wait to find it used somewhere else...I am not that patient! Love this store!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, decent amount of space, good variety of things and great books, all in a good location. I got a free "blind date with a book" for spending over $30 and am very happy with what I got. :)

Great atmosphere and the staff was nice. They have a great children's section and they even had a little section of toys that teach as well which I really like. Great local bookstore.

Cornerstone to the downtown. Friendly people with great products. You can order books and other products from them for prices cheaper than Amazon over the phone, if you want to support the neighborhood.

Great local bookstore. If they don't have it, they'll order it for you!

This is a nice little bookshop in downtown Pleasanton where you can find books for different ages and tastes. They have souvenirs, too. The prices are reasonable, and there are a few shelves with books for sale.

This is my go-to bookstore in my hometown. Great selection and if they don't have what I'm looking for they order it! Terrific, friendly service.

I'm pretty sure it must be a prerequisite for everyone who works there to look really cool, and the atmosphere is motivating. The hours are great, and they've got a great selection of children's books for such a small place. I love that the people working there have their own posted recommendations, and everyone I talked to was very knowledgeable and kind.
