Howard and his wife have been our tax accountants for over 10 years. For the past 4 I knew I needed to move, but I didn't because of the hassle. Well, I am paying for it now. The customer service is terrible. They are rarely in the office and don't answer emails or phone calls. From the mistakes made on my return, it's obvious they do not review them. I'm beginning to wonder if they even understand them. Maybe they're overwhelmed, I don't know. But for the past 4 year EVERY year they say they've had computer system problems and lost their data. I am still receiving phishing emails from some hack in their system. There are always additional fees that you're not made aware of until after your return is done (extra fees to review the return, extra fees if you want them to help you if the IRS audits your return, extra fees to keep a copy of your return, etc.) This is in addition to the high price I'm already charged (which goes up significantly every year). Please believe the bad reviews and avoid them.

I used to do my taxes with Lawerson's taxes services for the past 20 years and when he retired two years ago I was bummed that I was not going to find another tax person as good as him. Little did I know that I found better. Howard is very experienced so he was able to go back on our taxes and get more money back (in the thousands) from the previous years. He is always available to answers any questions. The office staff is super friendly. I am very surprised by the negative reviews since my experience with Howard for the past two years has been outstanding.

This office has failed me badly , all my 401k investments are managed by Howard and despite my numerous attempts since October 2919 , I have not received statements nor distribution of my money . I live in Europe and I am very annoyed by him ignoring my 30 + emails on this subject . I even had local friends to call his office to pay attention to my situation. Once I mentioned legal action in he answered, but failed to follow through. I have provided several signature pages for distribution(2x) if I get an answer it's plain RUDE!!!! Sheryl however does a nice job on taxes And responds timely. Several business holding friends of mine have pulled their business away from this office

Gotta say, staff has always been nice and helpful. This would have been my 3rd year but the office person was not at all helpful or friendly. I only had two questions, approximate price and would they have time to get them done by the 15th since last year they had family emergencies and were unable. "No way to know until after taxes are completed". Interesting answer. Anyway, was willing to give them another chance but since Adona was so friendly, I decided to choose another option. Again, Howard, the tax guy and his wife, as well as prior staff have always been very friendly.

Save yourself a world of frustration. Poor customer service, lack of responsiveness to emails, calls and messages left. The quickest response I got was almost an immediate reply to a courtesy email I sent advising that I will no longer work with them. To top it all, improper guidance on how to handle a specific tax situation that send me on a wild goose chase leading to weeks of redundant work on my behalf which could have been easily avoided and addressed in 2 hours if handled properly from tge get go.

Well a horrible experience with Howard finally came to an end. Because of lousy customer service a few years back we moved to a new tax professional who reviewed prior returns completed by Howard. Through his incompetence we overpaid the IRS several thousand dollars. After nearly three years the IRS finally paid us back our overpayment. Simple advice. Don't use Howard, but if you already have I would get another tax professional to go over his work.

I am always pleased with the quality of service I have received from Tri-Valley Tax Services. They are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable in the tax business. It is definitely worth paying for such good service and to have the peace of mind that your taxes were processed correctly. I used the previous company for many years before Howard and his staff acquired my account and I have never been disappointed. Thank you Tri-Valley for your excellent service!

Very Professional, Efficient mine is done electronically all the way so I am satisfied with how all was processed. Howard is very concerned about client privacy and security.
