I’m usually not fond of post offices due to the long lines and the unfriendly staff, but I had a wonderful experience yesterday at this particular Pleasanton location. I went in for a passport for my child and although I forgot an item, instead of turning me away, they were extremely understanding and accommodating. Hetal, the rep who helped me, was so sweet and full of smiles. She was helpful, knowledgeable and respectful of our time. Thank you Hetal! From now on, I will go out of my way to visit this location for all my post office needs!

Trash people giving trash service. Ignorance, indifference, talking down to me. Worst service in all of Pleasanton. Close this facility or fire everyone.

The female passport clerk with long gray hair is super rude. Does not give any information so you’re left stranded and guessing. I will have to come back a THIRD time because she does not give complete information and is exasperated when you ask her questions or for help.
I waited an hour for my appointment because someone else missed theirs and she was rushing me after 5 minutes.
There is a woman with short black hair that was extremely helpful and accommodating to the people waiting for passport services.
The clerk with gray hair is definitely on a power trip despite just being a self proclaimed “helper”. I expect more from a woman her age. But she acts like bratty teenager. Whoever hired her needs to be questioned because she does not know how to properly do her job in a professional and informative manner.

The women who work the counter here are rude and unhelpful. There is zero customer service from them. Watched them be condescending to two customers plus myself while standing in line.

I had an appointment for my kid and arrived a little late about 5 - 10 minutes but still within the 15 minute appointment time, but customer service did not let us use the passport service and asked to schedule a new appointment. I usually had many passport appointments before and always arrive early, but they always make us wait a lots and more than 15 minutes past the appointment time. But now, just little bit delay, they asked to schedule a new appointment….

I went to this place for my passport renewal application and I got Amazing customer service by Ramanpreet. She went out of her way and helped me to get it done. She deserves the appreciation and praise for it. I recommend this place for all postal services.

The best customer service, really fast and professional. Walk in is only one day a week part of the passport for first 10 customers.

My friend visiting internationally came here to send post cards to her friends living in various countries. We had the cashier help us to calculate and pay for postage and sending the postcards. A few weeks later a postcard was returned to her home address because she apparently didn't pay for enough postage. What a disappointment. How did a USPS cashier make such a trivial error in calculating postage?

Wow this place is awful!
I had an appointment at 11:15 to get my passport done, I got there 2 min early at 11:12 and mind you it was empty in the post office. The lady working there with glasses tells me that I need to stand outside under the passport service line in and I am waiting...11:15 rolls around and nobody and then 11:20 then 11:25 rolls around and finally the lady doing the passport comes out of a room mind you the lady that was at the front with the glasses who knew I was there did not even inform the passport service person I was there.
Long story short after they made a mistake with me they started telling her her when her next appointment has arrived. The other lady who seems to be her manager, comes out and tells her that her 11:45 appointment was there and asked if I had an appointment I told the situation that happened and she had the audacity to say it was my fault, saying I was not prepared when I had all of my paperwork and all my forms with me When it was my appointment. I downloaded the form that was on the passport website. The lady was 15 minutes behind, so I got very upset because she told me I wasn't ready when I had all my forms and I showed her everything that was to be brought for my appointment and on top of that the miscommunication at this place is awful. The lady who was in charge told me that she would squeeze me in on Friday between 12 to 1 because yesterday I took an earlier lunch 11 to 12 to get my passport done and it did not get done. I get no call and then at 12:38, I get a call asking if I am coming when I was informed not to just show up but to wait for a call Friday morning....i never got a call Friday morning
The employees and the managers here have NO communication and they need to be reviewed by higher management.
Let see how they do on Tuesday appointment

I have not had any issues with USPS or this location. A lot of the negative feedback here should try being in their shoes, as they work hard and on days that are supposed to be their day off… I have mad respect for USPS, my dad worked for them for 35 years and treated him well but people who always complain need to realize they’re out there working their butts off and In my opinion are underpaid. I have a friend who works for USPS and works 7 days a week barely getting to spend time with her loved ones but still makes time, and luckily for her, she doesn’t let the negative energy get to her, she loves her job and continues to serve the way all the USPS workers do. So please don’t bring down these people that are just trying do to their job like we all are.

The lady was not able to answer my question, so she told me to wait for the supervisor by the side door. Waited for 15 minutes, no supervisor. The door was opened by another staff member. I saw the lady on the phone and the staff asked the lady is there any supervisor and the lady said there isn't any supervisor ??? So, the lady asked me to wait by the side door for a supervisor??? For what??? Wasted my time. If no one ever opened the door, and if I didn't ask, I don't know how that would end up.

The staff named Tuyen (not sure if it’s spelled like that) had bad attitude, no patient, and is being really rude. She didn’t let us talk and that she should be fired. Never coming back.
