Loved the samples in the shop! Bought some cheese and a fresh baguette to take with us on our hike at local Point Reyes. Joanne was fabulous and shared lots of info with us! We can’t wait to buy more cheeses from this company!

Only bought sampler. It wasn't to our tastes. (Ok, we really disliked their choices)

The cheese tasting was totally worth it. We did the cheese lover package with farm tour for 4 people. The food was great, the setting was great and the person doing the tasting was great too. We loved their toma cheese, and they brought us a second plate. We also had to move the reservation due to weather and they accommodate it very well. Very good customer service.

The TomaRishi cheese is out of this world! The farm was closed when I visited, but I bought a wedge at the Inverness Market by the shipwreck. Incredible cheese from an area making it commercially since the 1870s, the first in California. If you like good food, visit the farm! In one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Update: apologies for the late update. We tried some of their cheeses that they offered to make it right, and it was delicious. Thanks!

Our visit to Pont Reyes Creamery was somewhat atypical. We visited on a day that they are typically open but they ended up being closed due to a trade event. Luckily. We drove up the lane/called in and the woman on the phone was really sweet to open up the shop for us to make a few purchases. We ended up buying the snack box, truffle cheese dip, salami, and crackers to make one heck of a picnic down the road at the neighboring meadery. We even took a pamphlet with us to create our own cheese tasting experience and read through it from front to back. So glad she opened up the doors for us! I've had the creamery bookmarked for months ahead of our trip in anticipation. I surprisingly enjoyed the Gouda (crystallized and saltier than your average Gouda- in a good way) and the truffle cheese dip. Really, you can't go wrong with any of their cheeses. Note that typically only the store is open but for tasting you need to book in advance. This seems to be a common theme in the area. Definitely worth a stop even if it's just for the market!

Wonderful and sweet place ! Visited this location in the past although this is the first visit we enjoyed a reserved tasting . The staff are great , friendly, knowledgeable of the cheeses , dairy and history of family and area. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back and share with family and friends . The garden and patio views are beautiful.

Stopped by to restock on our favorite cheeses. They have fun new varieties here and the prices are less expensive than local grocery stores. We also grabbed some delicious almonds and a beautiful cheese knife. This would be a great place for small gifts. Staff was very friendly on Thursday afternoon, we cannot wait to come back and try their cheese plate!

I love the cheese! A friend, Roman Northcote, introduced us to it many years ago . We liked it then and we still do.

There are raving reviews from those who have booked tastings, tours, and experiences, but if you plan on just stopping by to purchase a few items, don't bother. Giving my review 4 stars because I'm sure the tasting experiences are fantastic, but I really had a 2 or 3 star experience. Overall I liked the vibe of the land (cows happily chomping on food, nice hills with a view), but when I walked into the main entrance, I didn't feel welcome at all. The employees ignored me, then when I finally asked for where I could purchase cheese at, they pointed out the "shop" (a small fridge with a tiny selection of cheese) at the back corner of a room adjacent to the front desk. Anyways, I bought something really quick (the Toma) and dashed out back to my car. Super uncomfortable in there. Don't bother coming here if you don't have a tasting or experience booked.

Did the cheese tasting here, and it was a bounty of cheeses and accompaniments with so many fresh herbs as well. I think it's definitely worth a splurge. I'm inspired to try to come out for a farm dinner sometime now too.
