Although it is a subscription specialty store, there was a rocking chair in front of the coffee shop.It was nice to be able to drink delicious coffee leisurely in the warm sunlight on a rocking chair. The staff was friendly and they only accepted cash when I went.

This little coffee shop is a gem. It’s the kind of place that you wished was in your neighborhood.

I've been visiting Pt Reyes Station for just 3 years. Each time I've visited both Toby's Coffee Bar and the Bovine Bakery. The baked goods at both are excellent. On my previous 2 visits, my experience was that Toby's had more of a variety, and better prices. This time, I couldn't find any baked goods under $5 at Toby's. The Bovine Bakery did have a few things under $5. The Bovine Bakery accepts credit cards, Toby's is cash only. The ambiance at Bovine Bakery is pleasant, Toby's is next to their hardware store and it feels like a warehouse. I personally feel that available seating close to Bovine Bakery is more pleasant (street views and a little park close by). This time both places had a nice variety. Based on my most recent experience I think Toby's deserves 3 stars, and the Bovine Bakery 4.

Bad chai tea latte, bad service, bad prices, but it's open early and all the locals go here. And no one's very nice here!

More expensive than other bakeries in town and way lower quality. Stale and dry croissant. Coffee not worth the $6.

A nice local cafe in a cool little town, worth a stop while out on a bike ride.

Accepts cash only which I find strange as Toby’s Feed Barn which is under the same roof, accepts card payments. Coffee was ok.
