“Updated review, we were here 9mo's ago and we were lucky enough to stay in the same room, bathroom fixtures were updated, and management was extremely accommodating to our needs, thank you: Very nice, clean room, king size bed was comfortable, windows in bedroom & shower to let in pleasant mountain air, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV with cable, we established text communications and they were very responsive to our needs, note we were 2nd floor, no elevator. Would stay here again.”

“My family and I came here for one night after almost of week of being without power and hot water during the last big snow storm in the area. We were desperate for a hot shower and were willing to pay for a night to be able to do so. Unfortunately the facility was out of power at the time too, but the receptionist said they did have hot water if we still wanted to use it. They were so gracious and accommodating to let us to pay and stay even though their systems were down. The two employees we dealt with absolutely went above and beyond excellent customer service! Even though the room was dark and hard to see since we'd arrived just before dusk and left before dawn, we could tell it had been recently renovated and tastefully updated to a modern look. Overall an amazing experience during a really rough time. Highly recommended!!!”

the owner has made this historical hotel into a a time machine; where Edgar Allen Poe and art deco merge. You have to see it! We were made to feel very welcome by the staff.

I will be back to this fine establishment for their Karaoke night (Thursday).

The bar is stocked with locally made beverages, as well! 🩷 ✨”
