“I am currently evacuated from the Mosquito Fire. Staying with a lovely family in Pollock Pines for the last 2 weeks. Coming from Foresthill, I was use to the small town hospitality. However, Pollock Pines is on a WHOLE new level. My brakes were going out and needed to be done very bad. Being evacuated i was on a very limited budget. The wonderful people at Napa Auto Parts got my pads for me at an UNREAL cost (Bless their hearts) and then they got me in touch with John. The owner at Pony Express Service. he was closed Sunday. But he took time out of his day and met me at his shop 30 minutes later- Quoted me a very LOW price to change my pads. He took such good care of me and my son. And this man left such a lasting impression on my boy this last weekend. John restored my faith in humanity this day. And taught my son a very valuable lesson indeed. He communicated and played with my son the whole time and had my brakes done in record time. I will always remember this day and the kindess i was shown by these wonderful people and this wonderful community.”
