Love this hotel amongst the pines. They are friendly and nice. Rooms are large and have coffee, fridge, and microwave. They even have a little outside patio with a sliding door!Food & drinks: Sportsmans Hall restaurant is within walking distance and it's a historic place that serves delicious food!

It was okay, the room seemed clean enough, and the staff were friendly. The bed was on the hard side, and we had a problem getting the bathroom door to close. (there was a door stopper that was not feeling the whole, "flip up and stay up so we can close the door" vibe)The room was pretty spacious, though, and I liked the little porch out back. Had a microwave and a fridge, and the A/C was really good.

WORST HOTEL EVER. Filthy and CREEPY. Checked in for one hour when my daughter began to get really sick. We had to leave and I asked the lady at the front desk for a refund. The lady at the front desk yelled at me and then locked me out of the front office. I placed the key in the drop box and got out of there as fast as I could. As soon as we drove away my daughter got better. Something is very wrong with the owners and this place. BEWARE.

It's nice to find a place like this in an area like this that still has a traditional feel to it (still uses keys and not key cards?) Rooms are large with a large back patio or balcony. Fridge with freezer and microwave. Decor, TV, and bedding is not modern, still very much has that old school feel. Was clean and smelled good. Can't beat the price for location no matter the lack of amenities but A OK when most probably stay here to sleep while enjoying the recreational activities around every season. No pool, No breakfast. Has a couple tables with umbrellas to enjoy a meal at. Has an ice machine. The couple running place were sweet as can be with their 2 dogs. This place is very dog friendly and welcome your pets. We reserved through 3rd party and was the simplest check in I've ever experienced anywhere. Definitely recommend if you're OK with the traditional feel of how lodging used to be but if you are into modern day look and amenities then go elsewhere so ya don't leave unnecessary low reviews.

Not fancy, but the rooms are spacious and clean. Biggest motel room my family has seen in a while! Bedding is colorful- someone here has a good eye! Hosts are also gracious.

Just moved to pollock across the street from this place. I have family that will visit me periodically so thought I’d check this place out along with the best western. My mother is older and has difficulty walking so wanted to see how accessible it was. I passed it on my morning dog walk with my leashed animal to take a quick gander. All of a sudden two pit bulls came out of nowhere. They seemed friendly but I didn’t want to chance it so started to exit and he property and the pit bulls started to go away. I was like 3 seconds from being on the main road when a lady who I assume is the owner came running at me yelling things I could barely understand. Her husband was standing sheepishly behind her. Problem was with her running toward me it brought her 2 dogs back into the picture which made things pretty chaotic. She was yelling at me asking why I was on the property and I told her was looking to see if it would be appropriate for my family to stay since I just moved here and she just kept yelling at me telling me I cannot do that. Anyways. I just left. Would jot recommend staying here. Not only are the owners rude. But they let their pit bulls roam around. Not sure how comfortable I’d be with that. Stay at the best western if you can. Not much more expensive but way nicer and nicer people running it.

So this place is certainly a dump. They put us in the farthest room away from the office with no Wi-Fi, and then told us to stand next to the window if we wanted Wi-Fi. The beds are like slabs of concrete with springs, sticking up supremely uncomfortable the place is filthy with a capital F you would be better off sleeping in your car than paying $150 for this dump

Stayed a night and the front desk was friendly, it’s quite huge space, specious bathroom, but really needs to focus on the beds cover sheet and might not get changed regularly. Over all the price was very cheap since we had not other option it was the only one had available room. We enjoyed, it has balcony’s too. AC, perfect. Everything was great but the bed sheets.

The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. For the price West Haven is an excellent place to stay in beautiful Pollock pines.

Pretty old and unkempt grounds. Cigarette butts everywhere. Dogs not allowed in common areas, so had only rocky weedy places. Old and wrinkled linens. Not recommended. Noise from highway. No breakfast .
