Acratech builds and sells direct (and via partners) to customers ballheads and plates of the highest quality and performance. I bought a GP-SS ballhead in 2017 and it has been a pleasure to work with in the field. Now three cameras, and two tripods latter, it is still my first choice for stability.

I replaced the original Gitzo head on my Gitzo Traveler tripod with an Actratech GPSS head and never looked back. That should give you a pretty good indication just how awesome Acratech heads are! World class customer service from a small, family owned business too!
