I went to this shop on two prior occasions with no issues other than the owner, Frank, telling me to show up one of the times at 9am and then not arriving until 922am. To show them my appreciation, I bought every worker in the shop a tall can beer the first time doing business with them and brought in a dozen donuts the second time so Frank could distribute them to his employees and customers. Unfortunately, the work that I had done to establish a relationship was lost on Frank. I needed a bigger job done, quoted at $550. He told me on Friday to come in on Tuesday to get the work done. I showed up in person on Sunday just to double check with Frank that we were good for Tuesday, which he acknowledged. I show up on Tuesday morning and he tells me that he won’t be able to do it until Wednesday because someone dropped off a transmission and he didn’t know they were coming in on Sunday when I confirmed. I’m not one to tell someone how to run their business, but it seems to me that transmission guy came to Frank after I had a scheduled service. In my opinion, good customer service is when you follow thru for what you told your customer you’d do for them and not prioritize others over them. Now instead of missing one day of work, I had to miss a second. When I told Frank that this inconvenience caused me to lose money and that I’d like him to reciprocate good will towards me by discounting the work, he acted as if I was wrong to ask him to be held accountable for his mistake and told me I should find a different mechanic. It’s truly pathetic what customer service is coming to these days. It seems like no one takes pride in themselves or their work anymore. Frank has lost himself a very loyal and paying customer.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Frank did the tire alignment a few months ago. A week ago, my car started wobbling again and I was thinking about the alignment issue again. I took my car to Frank again today and after driving my vehicle, he said "No. Alignment is not the problem. One of the tires has a problem". And yes, he's CORRECT! He referred me to OB Tire, and they immediately fixed the problem! Thank you so much, Frank!

Took my 1963 ford Econoline in for some work. I talked to Frank the head mechanic and owner. I asked to have my inline 6 cylinder engine pulled out and replaced with another inline 6 engine. He priced the work at $800 and said it would be 4 to 5 days on the return time. I agreed to the terms. The project ends up taking a month and half. The day before pick up he says that I need a new fuel pump. So I go and grab one to help things move forward. When I drop off the part. His wife approached me and tells me that the bill will be double the agreed amount. I disagree with her, so she starts to talk to me like I'm a stepchild that she doesn't like. After the disagreement we settled for the agreed amount. The next day I pick up the van. The wife says she will only except cash as payment, which is super sketchy. I pay anyways. After I take the van, it's running horrible. Come to find out. Two spark plug wires are crossed, the coolant lines are zipped tied to the exhaust. My throttle linkage came apart will I was driving. My alternator still doesn't charge and the alternator is missing the nut to hold it in place. I definitely don't recommend this place. Maybe they take care of family but they sure don't care about the pride in their work. BE BETTER FRANK! This is your business. If you feel you deserve better money, maybe do better work that shows that you deserve it.

I've been coming here for years to get my cars fixed and I haven't had any problems with mechanics or parts I live in Kent I've been in Kent for one year I've lived in Tacoma for 20 years and for the last 5 years I've brought my car here to be serviced I wouldn't not bring my car to any other place because of the great service and quality mechanics that's yours has working for him

Came here bout 5 months ago they were Very unprofessional, couldnt even complete the work and made it even worse. F*** this place, they give no honest feedback, theirs no communication between their employees and the wife does all the talking when s*** goes wrong, also may have some missing bolts and even more problems than when you arrived.
