Been living here 5 years it used to be great but now it's time to move. This place has turned into a revolving door. They finally got good management. Security sucks a lot of homeless people get in here. I came home from work last month a homeless man was sleeping in front of my door.

You're next to all of Pomona's best activities and even though P-town can get a bad rep, it's not bad if you stay in the DTP and local area. Just be smart about your safety and your belongings, similar to city life. On the plus, theres so much nightlife, shopping, and dining literally steps outside your door. Also extremely close to transit which is a plus if you're a commuter! They have a ton of different unit options with great price points. Not to mention the modern amenities are really nice. The 2 times I've had to deal with customer service related issues, they have always been super helpful and polite.

Another Edit :Management has slow response, expect 10 days response time when contacting them regarding anything.Sent my notice to move out form today, very glad to be moving out.Unless you need to take train everyday, there are far better places than this.Enjoy your dollar somewhere else.————————They hire security for a week, just for the looks.Useless as always as my car got broken into again on Sep 14th. im done , you have no active security here. free picking to all thieves. I will ask management to get security footage but they wont have it .The location is absolute trash. If you live on 4th floor, your pad will shake every time a train goes by which is everyday and every night.I emailed the management and they don’t even respond. I requested a form for notice of intent to move out but I’m guessing they are gonna delay that response again. My revised one star review is genuine. As a foreigner, I’ve lived at many places as an undergrad and grad school but by far this place is the absolute worst , I don’t even recommend this to my worst enemy.—————————————————————————I believe it's only fair to give this place a rating of 2 stars. My experience here has been quite traumatizing due to multiple instances of fire alarms going off at 1am and 4am within a span of less than a year (9 times to be exact).Additionally, I've encountered homeless individuals doing drug on the 120E stairs twice, which I had to request patrol to come. (why am i doing your job)On top of that, my car was broken into, and my dashcam and personal belongings were stolen while parked here. This may be due to the fact that there is only one security or lack of.Regarding the rental costs, the studio loft is currently priced at around $2100 plus utilities ($100) and electricity ($100). However, now that my yearly lease is over, transitioning to a month-to-month lease will result in a rent increase to $2300.Although the place has a nice modern look, the location may not be ideal. I plan to live here until I enlist in the Korean army next year.Honestly, a 2 star rating suffices for my overall experience, as my attitude towards management worsens. however I appreciate prompt maintenance service. thats about it.What truly concerns me is that due to the frequent false fire alarms over the past year, I fear that if there is a genuine fire in the future, I might ignore it, given my previous experiences.Lastly, the management do not check or read emails as I had to send a reminder email for my first email i sent on 5/30/2023 on 6/10/2023. they did however open up by saying "We are sorry for the delay."I find it concerning that all the 5 stars reviews exist like a computer generated response on maintenance only.Im sure Im not the only resident frustrated with the ongoing situation here.

Living at Monterey Station was literally the worst experience of my entire life. The neighbourhood around the complex is very dangerous and the security guard does absolutely NOTHING about it, not to mention I noticed that one of the security guards working there at the time was probably a part of the criminal activity that would go on in the parking lot.. car break-ins, stolen catalytic converts, etc.. Also, I was told by management that a carpet fee would be removed from my account because I had picture evidence demonstrating that the carpet was damaged to begin with when moving in, but they still sent a bill to collections and damaged my credit score. The management team are liars and thieves, these apartments aren’t luxury. Do not move into Monterey Station.

The first year living there was great but after a year there were so many issues with the pipes, our apartment flooding, and the floor board and apartment wasn’t fixed. We kept paying the same high amount of rent for our apartment to look terrible with door and floor boards missing. The company didn’t take into consideration fixing that asap since they had us living there. Not sure if I’ll be considering or recommending this apartment complex.

The maintenance lady is very sweet and kind. If I have anything that needs to be fixed in my apartment she's there and gets things done. I've been at Monterey Station apartments for 8 months and haven't had any problems everyone is very sweet.

Just moved in. This is a two bedroom apartment within less than six months. The water has been turned off twice just recently we have been without hot water for four days as soon as the water turned on later that night alarms went off at midnight Throughout the entire building that woke us up. The water is again not working completely off. This is day five. I understand that this is an emergency situation with pipes that is out of their control, but this is the second time within six months that this has happened besides issues with water we have had our lights replaced three or four times because it was not properly working the amount of rent that you pay versus the quality of living does not match. Sadly, we will not be renewing our lease. Oh, and the gate to exit the property has not been working properly as well. The constant need for repairs throughout the entire property is ridiculous for the amount of rent that we pay do yourself a favor, and find another apartment complex to move to. Yes it looks nice from the outside but that's it. What is in their control is proper professional communication to the tenants t. We did not get no formal update until day 3. You cannot shower properly wash dishes, wash clothes nothing I'm sorry, but there needs to be some type of compensation to the inconvenience but they are putting all of us through
