My family always got birthday dinner for a member from a restaurant in Porter Ranch, and their Pita bread was awful. This January we we got their Pita bread with an order, it was incredible. I saved the wrapping just so I could remember where it came from. Great work, Pita Pit Bakery. You're Pita is the best!

Worst tasting pita bread. Bland and no taste and gives you digestive issues because the dough is not cooked well in most cases. So bad that they inspired me to start cooking my own pita bread. It cost me about $1.75 to make 13 pita breads in 2hrs and taste good, healthy and no digestive issues. All bread companies are lacking quality control and ingredients especially the middle eastern companies.

This is perhaps one of my favorite pita bread brands I usually scout when shopping in grocery stores. Fortunately, they supply to Super King adding more to the convenient factor. Super Kings is literally down the street from me making it very easy to shop. I like how this brand offers health conscious verity with low sodium and lower carbs. It certainly doesn't take away from the crisp layer and mushy feel on the palette. I usually wrap togo breakfast sandwiches after my morning swim and later lunch wraps for my midday bike rides.

Initially, I liked the pita bread so much, I called the number on the back of the package to inquire about some business. (909) 629-2424, I wasn't sure of the name of the company so when a man answered, I asked, " where am I calling?", the man responded very rude, " you tell me where are you calling ?!", I maintained my composure, even talking to the man in Arabic... he rudely dismissed me. I will never purchase this brand again as it represents negative service. If you're going to have your number on thousands of packaged product that's for sale- you should be prepared for CUSTOMERS to call and ask whatever questions they want and you should respond in a RESPECTFUL manner.

This place does not sell to the public. So don't waste your time driving there. If you want fresh arabic bread, good luck!

I grew up a second generation American with a French Canadian Father and a first generation American (100% Lebanese) Mother. Suffice it to say that we had a varied diet but one that was focused on Middle Eastern food much of the time. There were several bakeries similar to the Pita Pit in our (Boston, MA area) vicinity from which to choose our pita bread. I can remember a few of the names but the best was one that is now history was called Droubis. (Droo-Bees). I moved to southern California about 25 years ago. Since I still follow a somewhat Middle Eastern diet I searched for pita bread that was similar to my hometown favorite. My search was in vain for about 15 years until I found Pita Pit bread at the Farmers Ranch Market (now sadly closed) in Van Nuys. Pita Pit bread is identical to the the Pita from the aforementioned Boston area bakery; consistent, perfect, evenly thin-walled stretchy excellence. Even the whole wheat is terrific. OK, now for a few tips. You can still get this bread at Super King in Van Nuys and the Payless International Market on Venice Boulevard (I think in Culver City but maybe Palms). When you buy it squeeze the bag. The bread should feel moist and squishy, not dry in the least. When you find it this fresh freeze it (FLAT, not folded!) immediately when you get it home. Then, when you want to enjoy it simply take a round out of the bag and let it defrost or microwave it for 15 seconds or so. It will stay fresh and perfect through freezing and defrosting for a few months.

Tried the Pita pit bread from a mom and pops Mid eastern food market at 508 S Smith suit A104 it is always fresh and absolutely delicious. They have both the white and wheat. Great for breakfast, one hand sandwich filled with egg, sausage, bacon, cheese, bell peppers, onions or anything you can fill it with. And the customer service is always with a smile great place to get them. Glad I found this little gold mine that always carries them.

Their pita bread is amazing. I started loving it when I had it at Alina's Lebanese Cuisine in Ontario. I just called them to see if I could buy some but he told me the closest location where they sell to individuals (under 100 bags) is a Mediterranean market on south of Central Ave by the 10 freeway. I will have to check it out because I can eat this with breakfast, lunch, and dinner :).

Very good Pita bread. I had to go to the bakery itself to get some as I did not know which market carried this. It is a good thing the bakery is only 8 miles away.
