I have had the BEST experience with Uhaul / Pomona on Garey Ave. The service provided, particularly from the delivery person, Kandayce, who was amazing. The delivery, communication & help with the specific placement we needed the boxes was all fantastic. Kandayce was so efficient and nice. Very impressed! Thank you Uhaul!

U-Haul sells boxes and on the front of the boxes it says 100% Buy Back. I had 25 boxes to return and expected to be purchased back from me. The store person there refused to give me the cash. He only gave me a store credit!!!!buyback does not mean store credit it means you buy it back and pay the customer. I am super pissed I could've Sold them on offer up for one dollar each. I do not need Store credit for U-HAUL what the heck would they have for me later

This location is my Go To. They have a big lot and the best staff! They are very helpful and understand not only moving, packing and shipping needs but they know their equipment hands down. They don't rent trailers with bald wheels, they don't rent equipment in need of repairs. They do it right the first time! Excellent attitudes from employees and make you feel secure before you leave the lot!

David Sahagun General Manager always welcoming & friendly. And his staffs always helpful & friendly like D'Aaron Bell who assisted me today. Stayed COOL & calm while checking availability of another day for my reservation if able to reserve. He did so, and explained everything to my husband & I . And other staff Jose Rios always friendly helpful over phone & in person. Assisted my husband & son before with packing supplies. Everyone at these locations so friendly helpful & most important of all the have a lot available trucks any size & supplies. I think this location is the biggest U-Haul around Pomona; Diamond Bar; Chino; Chino Hills; West Covina; City of Industry & Walnut area. Thank you David Sahagun; D'Aaron Bell & Jose Rios for your "Excellent Service "!) Highly Recommend this location

Can always count on this Uhaul location to have trucks available! Easy mobile reservation for pick-up and a convenient key box for late drop-offs. Oh and COREY is the man! Great upbeat attitude and customer service skills! Thank you!

I moved things in last night after we got off work and we were literally RUNNING back and forth to get the last boxes in before the 7pm closing time. I came back when they opened at 7am this morning to organize the boxes we had so quickly thrown in last night, and then around 9am a sloven looking man came knocking (who said he was the manager) on my storage unit door. My husband wasn't with me and I felt uncomfortable because there was no one else around. He asked me if I was living here!!!! So rude!!!! So presumptions!!! I was pretty insulted, and makes me wonder if people living in the units is a normal occurrence at this storage location, which makes me feel even more unsafe being here alone. Then about 30 min later another man about 5'2' in height knocked on my door, and he also said he was the manager! I don't know if they're both the managers but I thought it definitely added to the strangeness. My dog really didn't like this second guy and was barking loudly when he walked up, so I stepped outside to speak with him. He then told me that dogs aren't allowed, and I told him I'd leave him at home next time. The reason I brought my dog today is because the large storage unit building feels unsafe and I've seen some characters walking the halls and I feel much better having him here with me. Then he (very rudely) poked his head past me into my unit and saw my writing desk and computer set up in the far corner and asked "what are you doing in there?". I told him I have my computer set up to take a Zoom call in a few min. I have a lot of things to organize and go through but also need to keep up with work while I'm doing that. And he told me that the definition of a storage unit is to only store things. That I put things in and get out immediately. This little man then proceeded to give me permission to stay longer for today, but he said that tomorrow he will be sure to come by my unit to make sure I'm not here again!!!! It's none of his business what I'm doing, how many days I'm doing it in, or if I'm organizing, taking a Zoom call or picking my nose in my unit during business hours. This guy comes off to me as an insecure loser who makes himself feel better by harassing people he perceives as weaker than himself, which in this shrimpy little man's case can only be smaller women like myself. Then he told me that there is only a 1-2 hour window of time that I can stay!! He said it states this in my contract, when I asked him where I can find these rules posted.. I just read my contract after he left and it doesn't mention a timeframe within storage opening hours that I can stay, so he pulled that one straight out of his ass. I would really like for UHaul to know about the unprofessionalism of this "manager", because if he were my employee and he were harassing my female customers in this way, I'd fire him immediately! And any competent business owner would. The other staff here besides the two so-called managers- very friendly and helpful, I have only had positive interactions with all the guys at the front desk and the ones working around outside.

Okay I am trying to figure how how to begin with this lol So first of all I love that the option of Ubox exists I mean there is absolutely no way to beat that price when it comes to moving especially if you're moving out of a studio or a one bedroom which was a case for me. I was able to take my Queen bed, sofa and a bunch of other stuff with me on my move out of state for a great price. Its hard to find a price lower than ubox container for long distance moving. So i was happy with that. The frustration comes from poor communication and reliability. It started when my box was shipped to a different city than original city I had requested for. The change occurred without me being notified or asked about it. As soon as I noticed it they told me it cant be changed because something about how one location doesn't keep the box there whereas some do. I mean thats fine but a heads up or communication ahead of time would be nice for one to prepare. I personally called this location multiple times to access my box and was not able to get a hold of anyone. It was extremely frustrating and I just ended up having to drive there to figure it out. When i got there i was asked did i call before coming to let them know i was coming. Um yes several times but no one answers the phone. Moving sucks in general but i was really frustrated with the lack of responsiveness and communication throughout this process.

I'm glad I had my own dolly cuz I thought one came with the rental. My bad. Be sure to ask. People were great. Big location. I was able to drive the 26' truck out and in easily. Easy early "after hours" return.
