I went there once again to buy a lotto ticket for the Mega Millions and was nicely greeted by the cashier who helped me Greg. He had a cool attitude and said have a great day. He along with others like Felecia, Rita, Janet, Patty, Martha, Daniel, Sarah and Jose. Store is clean. There are several nice ones also at the LaVerne store!! Keep up the good work guys!

I moved to Pomona 6 years ago and thankfully Stator Bros was located across the street. It became our regular store where I would frequently visit 3-4 times a day. I became close to the employees that worked hard on a daily basis at the store. I am a private chef and would put in orders often for our business as well. We spent tons of money at Stators and when Mike was the GM you could see how valuable he was. The fact you guys brought in a woman who is clueless on how to connect with the culture of Pomona shows how blind and ignorant corporate management is. My whole issue is I came in recently to buy a gift card for my mother. The checker rung the card up and when I got it from her I noticed 2 numbers were showing where the scratch off is. I then checked the card balance and it was $0. I've spent tons of money at this place and people know me there I have integrity and trying to steal $184.14 is not something I would do after being dedicated customer for years and knowing all the supervisors there. It's obvious things are so disorganized and the employees don't care about protecting the public. So I will gladly say Stator Bros will never get another dollar from me or my family for as long as I live. You guys need to get a clue despite the remodel you guys destroyed that entire store and the great thing it once was. Thanks for pointing me to the direction of Costco. Special thanks to Greg for always looking out for my daughter's with stickers. Patty, Eli, and Janet are also great employees and I honestly feel bad they work for such corporate crooks. I will be in contact with Peter Van Helden!

The manager Felicia is AWESOME. She went out of her way to grab us edamame that we over looked in the frozen section. She over heard us saying we couldn't find it and quickly helped us, so helpful and kind. You can tell she cares about her store and the customers. She keeps us coming back!

First of, all these negative reviews on here are misleading! Everything I've been to the Pomona location I've had great service, fresh products. Just because an establishment is in a "badly" reputed area, doesn't mean it's bad. The meat counter was excellent, they were outside of jalapeño burgers but the gentleman told me he'd make more and gave me a brief time estimate. I also ordered from the deli, the woman was very thorough and asked if the thickness of the cold cut was fine, she also gave me a sample of the deviled egg potato salad. Finally, my mother had some trouble with her card not working in the cashier/register area and the cashier was such a gentleman. His name is Greg G. He was so patient, polite and helpful. He helped her with the prompts and helped her use the pin pad. It was incredible service. He didn't make her feel bad or anything. I was in awe and happy people like this still exist in such a difficult industry! Greg helped us bag our groceries and wishes us a Happy New Year. I highly recommend this grocery store. Thanks Greg G. And Pomona Stater Bros.!

I have been shopping here for nearly 10 years and was happy to see all the renovations the store got. However, when I was looking at the new bakery I wanted to ask a couple questions about all the new additions. I was then met with a really rude and condescending attitude by a worker. It was an older lady standing outside the bakery who's name I believe was Diane. I'm not sure if she was one of the bakery workers herself as she wasn't wearing the usual uniform like everyone else. I usually have a great experience with customer service so this was a rare occasion. Please speak to your workers about their attitudes. All things aside, good job on the remodel!

The new setup looks nice its a shame the sushi guys are just out front of the store smoking every time for that reason alone 2 starts is being nice should be one but could be a 4 without that situation

Shout out to the meat department. I want to thank Chad for going way beyond with excellent customer service. We need more employees like him. Thank you so much. Very helpful, my mother doesnt speak English and he treated her with kindness and tried to help her out in every way as possible even without him speaking Spanish. My mom was very pleased with his customer service. Thank you Chad 10 years of being customers here in Pomona

I go every morning before work for past 5 years, lines got worse and employee attitudes got worse. Only one cashier open 8 people in line machine malfunction stuck in line over ten minutes this kind of thing happens all the time not going anymoreJust gave it another chance, went to go and get tons of snacks for my classroom this morning. Well, I went and was again greeted by one of the rudest cashiers I ever have to deal with at Stater Brothers, Janet, (she actually started going back-and-forth arguing with me in the store while I was in line -so unprofessional) I called so that I could speak to a manager regarding my unpleasant experience, and was on hold for too long, and had to go to work.

First of all I'm a big fan of Stater bros. Produce is good, everything is usually in stock, and the meat is always top notch. The only reason I gave this particular store 4 stars is that they could be a little more friendly and the registers can be backed up at times. Also just to let you know this store is currently going thru a remodel.

This review is for the Stater Bros. Market on Garey and Alvarado, in Pomona.How do you love a grocery store? They have excellent customer service. The store is clean, if you need any kind of help, someone is always available. I really am proud to say that they treat their community with care. Many times, I have had to wait for my ride to come and they would go and get me a chair to sit on while I was waiting. I have looked for low sodium products, and they took the time to go from one isle to another to help find them. My word to them is to keep up the wonderful service to your customers. My word to the customers is to appreciate the care extended to you by your local grocery market.By the way, to any of you that are vegans, they do carry vegan products. If you are looking for desserts that are dairy free, they do carry some as well, and they do have good selections of produce.Have Fun!!

I don't suspect any overnight MIRACLES have taken place regarding there prices! Don't wear blinders when you go in there regarding sale priceing, must buy three to receive this price? Check out the size of the product you may be purchasing, their competitors may be offering the same product in a larger size and a lesser price! Buy what you went there for! Inflated prices ain't what we think!
