The Daum lobby staff is absolutely fantastic! They always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their professionalism and sense of humor brighten up your day as soon as you step through the door. They are incredibly helpful and ready to assist with anything you need. With their lovely personalities and top-notch service, they truly make the apartment feel like a home. Kudos to the amazing staff for adding that extra touch of joy and warmth to every interaction!

The worst place to live.. hallways are so hot, no windows in any part of the building are open for air. The carpets in the hallway are disgusting and dirty. The laundry is free but the machines are always dirty and left behind with hair and animal fur, the trash rooms are located on only one side of the building. The doors all around the building including room doors are extremely heavy. The management is no help and very rude. The trash outside of the building by the gym is always filled up and overflowing. Trash is always flying away with the wind. Through the months of July they lock all of the trash rooms so you have to dump your trash outside by the parking lot dumpster (which is extremely high) so everyone leaves their garbage on the street. The only conveniency is that it's right on campus. The rooms are very small and inconvenient. The stoves are very out dated and old. I don't recommend living here.

Great service from the entire staff. The maintenance is very fast at responding and fixing any issue that may arise. The front desk staff is always extremely kind and helpful. I definitely recommend the Daumier!

My experience at the Daum in my almost three years (so far) living here has been great. The staff are all hard working and welcoming and is easy to strike up a conversation with. The maintenance staff are excellent and kind (s/o to Sharelle!!) and make sure the building looks and smells great. Free access to pool, free laundry, free printing, free access to study rooms, fun resident appreciation events, and utilities (except electricity) are paid for. It's an exceptional place for you and your pets to live that's right on campus!

Daum always gets things fixed quickly. Space is good for a student. Prices are steep but that's what you get in LA County. They always have events for students and the grounds are well Kempt. Walls are very thick typically do not hear any neighbors

The front desk and staff are really friendly and make it worth living here as well as the convenience. The maintenance crew is also very friendly. The price is pretty high. The entire year including move in day they don't have air conditioning in the hallway or the stairwell. The lack of air conditioning in the stairwell also makes the rooms next to them heat up and increase the electricity bill super high for no reason while others pay less. The coffee machine is constantly down. Mail can't be sent past 6pm or on weekends. Today, there's a Christmas parade and I'm trapped here without warning because they didn't let us know that we would be blocked off for it. The internet sometimes goes down for a while which is a bit inconvenient since we all live there because we're in school and need it and it doesn't help that the school one also isn't amazing. Overall, these stars are for the wonderful staff. Whoever owns this building needs to make a lot of improvements.

Nice staff that make you feel welcome. I enjoy the convenience of printing for free and Krista is very fast at taking printing requests. Esmeralda and Joe are also nice, hardworking people. Maintenance crew are also very nice, honest people (which is good to know for repairs in the apartment)Just the occasional water shut offs, washing machine/dryers not working, and elevators breaking down every once in a while are the things to look out for. No AC in the stairwell and hallways make summer pretty bad too, which is during move in time. I wish the owners would invest in AC there because it gets really stuffy, and living in a room next to them also is a downside. Overall, I have enjoyed my 2+ years living at the daumier.

Super convenient to live on campus and the building is nice compared to a lot of the other ones around campus. Krista is the sweetest and helpful, always gets stuff done for the busy students here.

I don't know why this place has gotten bad reviews. I have been here for two years and plan on staying for the next two. I lived in other apartments during, and by far this has been the better choice. I'm a vet student staying at one of the 2 bedroom rooms, and it's very spacious (don't let pictures make you think otherwise). My fiancé and I live in the bedroom, and we haven't had a problem with space! It's the most affordable option, and you get your own bathroom. You are responsible for only your room (only share electric bill). Your roommate forgets to pay, it's not your problem! As for the internet issue, I have NOT had any issue, especially during online classes (Covid classes). We do get notices when water or gas will get shut off, usually 1-2 weeks ahead. Other places I stayed gave me 1 day or no notices. The courtyard is a great place to hangout, especially in the summer nights! The grill area is my personal favorite since I like night-time bbq. The staff have been helpful, even though I bombarded them with emails when I first moved. The maintenance staff is quick; they come that day or early the next day.Basically, I like this place! No other apartments I stayed at offered much like the Daum.

The main issue I have had since being a resident here is that during my time of transitioning units, the Daumier had the audacity to have me move into my new unit when the common areas had not yet been cleaned. There was still a resident living in the other bedroom and all their stuff was still in the kitchen and the living areas that I am also paying rent for. There were always little things I was not satisfied with while living here, but ever since the newer staff arrived, I have not been too happy. They claimed that they would not clean the common areas until the other resident had moved out. How am I even supposed to use the space properly when someone else's belongings are occupying said space? How am I supposed to prepare my food when the kitchen isn't even cleaned yet???????? Someone make it make sense for me. They shouldn't have even had me move it until the unit as a WHOLE was cleaned and ready for both new residents to move in. The management is VERY unprofessional for this. Especially during this time of co-VID. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to live here as it is also highly over priced. The other two complexes nearby are kind of ehh but they're still probably better than here as I have heard no complaints from fellow classmates that live there. You're probably better off renting a house in chino hills.
