We have been at this pre school for over a year and a half. We have gone through many transitions and changes as a family and Temple Beth and their amazing director and teachers have been a staple in our life. The teachers here are kind, patients, smart, and deeply dedicated to the children they are caring for. I have a very sporadic schedule and have often dropped off and picked up at random times and it amazes me every time how playful and fun, yet calm and organized they always seem to be. Choosing a pre school for our smallest children is such a difficult decision and I am so grateful we chose this one. My child has been able to learn so much from all the wonderful lessons, teachers and cultural diversity. They are an inclusive, communicative, professional and child centered community, we love TBI!

Dont bring your kid here if they are on the spectrum of autism. My kid was diagnosed as high functioning mild to moderate on the spectrum. We told the director at the time what our situation was and she was ok with it. But soon after they complained every day about my kid just because she didn't like coming in from playing outside. My kid needed a little more prompting when it came to transitions. My kid also had some therapists to come in and work with them. My kid was also not there all day because my kid went to a public preschool in the morning and got dropped off for lunch and the rest of the day at Temple Beth. Teacher Robin absolutely had no patience for my child and she had no poker face about it. After a couple months the director gave me an ultimatum and said if I want my kid to continue at Temple Beth, then someone needs to be with my kid during daycare hours. So what's the point of me paying for this school? Fyi this happened in 2015-2016. I heard that teacher Robin is the Director now and I don't know how that lady got that position. I am so disappointed with this place. I finally got a call back from another preschool/daycare just in time with that ultimatum and left Temple Beth. The other preschool I took my kid to was understanding of my situation and worked with my kids therapists to help them have a successful day. After that, my kid thrived and everything got better.

We love this place & highly recommend it! My daughter just finished her 3rd year here & next she is off to Kindergarten. The Director & the Program is remarkable. Their curriculum is great - they work on all developmental areas with a focus on the social interactions. They have a beautiful shaded outdoor play area that is hidden from the main road. The kids get a lot of outdoor time & engage in lots of different activities. They play a lot of music & have fun, all while learning routines, how to share, be part of a group, as well as embrace the kids individuality. The teachers are very nurturing, attentive and great at problem solving. They are all educated in different fields of child development. There is open communication between parents & teachers & the director too. They have a flexible schedule of mornings 9-1 or modified daycare 9-4 or full time from 7:30-6, also options for x2, 3, 5 days a week. When we first went to visit I remember standing inside the school & feeling the warmth & peacefulness of the place. I highly recommend it!

I feel so fortunate to have found Temple Beth Preschool. I had sent my daughter to 2 other preschools prior to TBI, one only lasted a few months and the 2nd I pushed through 6 months hoping it would get better. This is now our second year at TBI and my daughter is thriving and happy. She has formed a bond with the teachers each year, she looks forward to going to school and she is learning. I recommend this preschool to everyone I know, it is truly the best.

I have 2 children that have gone to TBI Preschool. My daughter graduated a year ago and just finished Kindergarten. My son is going into his final year of preschool at TBI. I can’t recommend TBI’s preschool program highly enough. Deborah runs a wonderful child-centered program and the teachers are caring, compassionate and committed to the children. The classes are small and the Pre-K (Group 3) class did an excellent job of preparing my daughter for kindergarten. This is a gem of a school.

I had both kids at TBI and recommend it highly. It's a very nurturing and safe environment. Your kids will be well prepared for kindergarten. My daughter was ready for 1st grade when she left TBI. The director is always available and always addressing any questions or concerns you might have.

Both of my children attended this preschool and I cannot say enough positive things. Have attending other preschools and being an educator myself, this is the BEST preschool in the area. It is small enough that every staff member knows all the children. It is a community that nurtures your child.

Very diverse and open community. The preschool is excellent, and the administration and teachers all care and do a great job with the kids.

I currently have two children who attend this preschool. One is 3 and in Group 1, and the other is 4 and in group 2. Having a degree in Child Development and experience working with children in a variety of settings over my lifetime, I'd say I was pretty picky about where I sent my kids. I have been so incredibly pleased with this school! Their staff are all highly educated, highly trained and extremely attentive to each child's developmental needs. They are caring and have a great way to nurture their love of learning and their social/emotional development. I would NOT ever consider sending my children any place else. Our 3rd child will be starting in Sept of 2015. My ONLY complaint is that they do not yet offer childcare for younger siblings! ;-)

We have been Temple Beth Israel members for 25 years, Both of our children attended the Preschool as well as attending the Hebrew School and Confirmation programs at Temple Beth Israel. Hands down, this is the best preschool around. Our family still talks about it to this day and both our children have been involved in the Jewish community ever since then. Debra Pruitt is an amazing individual and she should be commended on her outstanding abilities.

This is the best place you could possibly imagine for your children to learn, grow and develop. I have been consistently impressed by the care with which the teachers and administrators treat my children, as well as by their professionalism and knowledge of child development. I recommend this preschool wholeheartedly to anyone looking to send their kids to a place where they will be cherished, understood, and nurtured.

Our family was welcomed to TBI Preschool with open arms when we moved here. They care for each child with warmth, love, and kindness. The school has a fantastic outdoor area and nice classrooms. Our child cannot wait to arrive and is sad to leave each day. The staff not only teaches the children, but teaches them how to get along with others. TBI Preschool is welcoming to all families of all backgrounds and beliefs and the children are very diverse. It is definitely worth being a part of!

STOP! Look no further for a great school! We had our 2 year old son in another school that "just didn't feel right." When we visited TBI, it felt like home. Our son LOVES this place. The teachers are helpful, nurturing and kind. It is a safe, wonderful environment for my son. By the way, we are not Jewish. Rather, we are practicing Christians. Our family has been welcomed with open arms. The Director, Deborah, always has excellent advice and is a great person to speak with about parenting issues. The teachers have a solid background in child development. My son who has a speech delay has learned a great deal since starting there. Also, he has learned important lessons about resolving conflict, taking turns, cleaning up, etc..... The other kids and parents are great. I love this school, and can't say enough good things. The facility is excellent. There is a preschool program in the morning and an optional daycare portion in the afternoon. When I pick my son up, he keeps asking for "More school." That says it all, folks :)

We are not Jewish, but all three of our kids were welcomed and received a fantastic preschool experience and education. We highly recommend this school. The teachers and aids are loving and attentive, and the facilities are clean and safe. Our children loved it, and so did we!
