I had came in today to get an oil change and tell me why I get a call about my car being dead and n out starting up when it worked fine just 30 mins before. My bf checked in the car at 2:05 pm by this Asian guy ( we didn't get his name). When he was checking him in, the Asian worker stated my bf to double tap the engine button so he can see the mileage and so on. After that he just gave him a sticker and stated that he was good to go and to hand him the keys. We weren't sure if he was going to do anything else or not and decided to take our time to just shop around. Next thing I know I get a call stating that my car is dead and is not turning on. They stated that they are trying to charge it but it wasn't giving any response and wanted me to get a whole new battery. Mostly since it was blocking the line. And since I wasn't sure what to do I just told them I was going to call my dad who is a mechanic. At that point my assumption was that they had left my car running for about 20-30 mins since I know my car battery can be killed if it was left out for that long, which is why I usually don't leave it sitting unless the engine is on. When I get to the counter and asked about my car, the guy on the counter kept asking me what I wanted to do about the battery since it's dead and that the only thing we could busily do is change it because it wasn't reacting to their machine. And we were like what do you mean technically we left the car working fine and only needed an oil change. So how the hell did this even happen. We did confront them a few times stating whose fault it is for leaving the car battery running and on the whole time but they try to pin it on us stating we came in with a faulty battery. Since I guess he stated that there was no way for my battery to die if it was left on for 30mins. And once we told him that my dad is a mechanic he drop that whole conversation about it dying. He even gave us the option of we wanted to do the oil change or not as well which I find crazy, since what was I suppose to do if I came for and oil change and now my car is dead. Then we had waited for a manger which took forever. While we waiting we were told that the car did work once it was jump started and they were working on the oil change. When they did finish working on it, the Asian guy came out stating that it was done. And that we needed to change out battery since the battery is bad and only last about 3 years depending on the warranty. Which to me didn't makes sense but I'm not a car person. He also stated that our battery is a 2019 battery so it's old that's why it didn't start. And when we stated that batteries do last longer than the warranty and that it's not really based on how long it works. He stated that stated that it was a miscommunication about leaving the car on since he expected my bf to turn off the car without stating to turn it off, even though the worker had my keys. Plus since the worker didn't go Inside it wasn't his fault because all he was checking was the mileage. But every mechanic does everything differently so how is it our fault when he wanted us to turn on the car without the engine and tell us we were good to go, when obviously he should've stated that we should turn off the car since he didn't need the car at the moment. He didn't state shit and that's how my battery died. The whole time even talking to the bald manager who has piercings. Tried to blame it on us . Stating that normally customers would turn off their car with no questions ask. And that it was normal, which made it sound like he was looking down on us. Since for us, the mechanics we went to usually check the mileage and everything on their own. Which through us off on how he stated they can't do anything about it since they aren't liable and didn't go inside of the car. And that it was a miscommunication, while our battery was still pretty bad. We didn't catch the manager's name because he came in stating who needed t

The low prices come with a long wait. So you’ll have to decide if money is worth more than time or not.

I've always had a great experience with this WALMART located in Pomona. I've have been to this location for years and i've seen very little change in staffing. Most of the same team have worked here for a while. I get the sense that they care about their jobs and their customers. Has there been times when I've had to wait a long time to get my oil changed? yes more times than not. I think the wait was due to the fact that they are shorthanded and they have to fit the tire Service in between the oil changes I always anticipate long wait times so I take my laptop or iPad so I have something to do. I know the wait time can be a bummer however, if you want to get in and out in 20 minutes, you'll end up paying twice as much and you also get hit up by the competition to purchase items that you don't need necessarily. And those extra items are usually double the cost of the item sold at Walmart However, if you do need an air filter, and I know the guy will gladly check it for you and replace it if you want them to, and they even do the same for windshield wipers

Went to me scheduled appointment, dropped off my car, I called them to find out status of my car, they said technician couldn’t figure out how to install same sized stock tires and to bring it another day when there’s a technician with more experience.

I bought Car battery with 700 CCA online & picked it up at Walmart Ontario. They gave me 670 CCA battery. So I made the return, get the barcode. And it said I could return the battery to ANY Walmart. Brought it to Walmart Auto center in Pomona. The guy (I think the manager) didn't want to accept the return & argued that the battery was fit for my car. That the number on the sticker 670 doesn't mean anything, it's only pic..(???). That battery manufacturer don't make battery with 700 CCA anymore while infact I already bought one from Autozone. Only after arguing back & forth he finally scanned the return barcode that went through right away. Very bad attitude, rude, bad costumer service. And be careful when buying auto parts from Walmart. They might try to give you different than what you think you pay for.

I purchased 2 tires from Walmart and came to have them mounted and balanced on my car. I booked an appointment beforehand and arrived at 10am in the morning. After being forced to wait more than 3 hrs, I ask to take my car and leave. They relented and said they would do it immediately, bumping me ahead of the "line". I watched their technician take exactly 30min to change out 2 tires.I saw all over the store that it costs $17 to mount and balance tires purchased from Walmart. However, they did not even honor that deal and charged my more than double. They claimed I did not purchase these tires from the store even though I had to receipt to prove it.Not only are these guys slow and incompetent, they are also completely dishonest. I could have gotten the job done for cheaper and faster at a local auto shop.Never go to Walmart to get your tires done
