Came to this credit union when I bought my first car. I have been a customer ever since. Long lines but they move pretty quickly. I typically go to the Oxnard location. Staff is not as friendly as years ago but I feel that is staff at all banks. Things have changed. I liked being remembered and chatting but not everyone does. I also like when banks had coffee and cookies. I was told it's a health code violation. Ay .. the things to worry about in our county. LOL! Anyway I like this credit union :) Miss the way tellers used to interact and bring back cookies/coffee from Like over a decade ago.

I always try not to visit this office in Port Hueneme because whenever I come they give me bad customer service. The lady who took care of me was nothing professional and had an attitude like mocking with other colleagues, that's why I don't visit that office, rude people who don't know how to treat customers.

It was my first time at this location, and I have to say the supervisor Stephanie demonstrated POOR customer service. I went in positive, I greeted her nicely, I asked to withdraw my money and off the bat she gave me a sassiness on things I did not know about my account. Also, as she starts counting my money, she doesn't even say "ok let's count your money," as they usually do at other banks, so the customer can watch them count the money. Stephanie started counting without letting me know. I grab my money, and I count it myself. Lastly, I asked about the e-statement and she gave the shortest answer ever. I then ask, "Are we done", she responds with "NOT EVEN MAKING EYE CONTACT "if their isn't anything else, yes." Because I sensed her attitude, I walked away without saying thank you, and all I hear her say is "your welcome. " COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY! Me being how I am, I turn around and I tell her "Girl, I really hope you are much nicer next time.". Since Stephanie is a supervisor, she is representing VCCU, and I walked out of that bank with negative feedback, to the point that it makes me question if I want to continue banking with them. Please re-train Stephanie to provide better customer service! Nobody is perfect, but it is Stephanie job to at least be kind to the customers that walk in. Because without us customers, Stephanie wouldn't have a job.

Went in today and Jackie C, was very rude. So rude never would go back to that branch again. Makes me want to close my whole account because of her.

I Rarely go to this location but every time I do there is always some sort of issue. You are better off going to the branch on Rose.

From the moment I first walked into the VCCU until now they have shown me excellent service, not to mention a fast turnaround with competitive rates on my car refinance. Won't answer phone calls, won't open a bank account for someone at a bank due to "limited services". Perhaps you should post that on Google before wasting people's gas.

The best bank by far. I've had so many different ones Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo. Best customer service in the phone and in person! Definitely recommend to everyone! :)

Nothing but great service all along I’ve been with VCCU for over 6 years and have nothing to complain about unlike the other negative Nancy’s reviewing on here. I like the fact that you talk to actual employees at VCCU when you walk in, unlike the big Corporate Banks where no one is present.

there is this employee thats is just amazing at her job that literally pours her heart and soul into her job. she was sooo patient with a client with a very difficult situation. the client said she will leave a review on yelp.. so after daniela torres helped me out and did an amazing job .. i sit in front of the bank on my bike. writing this review just in case the other lady doesnt. she definitely needs a raise at minimum!!!!! thanks daniela your awesome!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bank! The employees there are awesome! Great customer service, friendly and clean!!! I'm always greeted when I walk In and have never ever had any issues here!

Stay far away from this "financial institution."Your better off keeping your money in a bag under a mattress.They treat their members horribly and have absolutely no customer service.

I would give this Credit Union 0 stars. Unfortunately the lowest rating allowed is 1star.This Credit Union is a Co-op. I normally just use this Credit Union to withdraw money from the ATM because there are no fees involved. I decided to use this Credit Union to make a relatively large deposit. They LOST the check deposit. How does a Credit Union lose a check?!?! Unbelievable! This speaks volumes about the level of their competency. Be very careful if you decide to make any deposits here. I would strongly advise against it.
