I see most of these are at least a year old. My experience has been different. I had previously had my prescriptions at Walgreens. Typical wait for new meds was 3 days. Then sometimes, after waiting, I'd call and they'd tell me they didn't have the med. When we currently had covid, this pharmacy was the only place that had it. 5 minutes after they got the prescription, it was ready! So I transferred ALL our meds and they have not disappointed! Amazing customer service too! Very satisfied!

It has improved over the years I gotta say. Just don't get the new employees what ever you do. This one didn't recognize that I HAD the proper paperwork and my returning the next day wasn't necessary. Although I did. Got the same woman at the same window. But this time she asked the lady at the next window what to do and TA DA ! problem solved and I was on my merry way.

Slowest CVS in town! Sitting at window for ten minutes before anyone recognizes me. What! Then I'm asked to wait for another 5 minutes. Crazy people. I should have parked and walked in.

Pharmacy has disgustingly awful customer service. my prescription was transferred from another pharmacy. CVS tried to blame the other pharmacy for not sending information. I showed up to the other pharmacy to ensure CVS was not lying. It turns out that that they had submitted all the info to fill the prescription the day before. All this time I have been speaking to CVS on Olive they kept giving me the run around saying that they had called the pharmacy to have the prescriptions faxed over but there fax machine is broken so they need the pharmacist to verbally take the medications down. All day we have called to make sure my medications have been transferred and filled so that I may start my treatment, but the lady at CVS told me they still have not received it yet until I had to gain what energy I had left to resolve the situation and go down there this is day2, I asked them if maybe my prescriptions where possibly transferred to other CVS in our town and they mentioned that could be possible so here I go driving around town to every CVS in Porterville. I called CVS to get the status just in case they had received and filled it but I was still on hold the entire time I was at the other pharmacy. They finally answered transferred me to the pharmacist Bassen once I stated my name he placed me on hold and hung up. I have a severe case of pneumonia mind you waiting over 24 hours to fill a prescription from the ER is no joke. I then call back the lady answers and hangs up on me several times. I finally get her on the line as I am explaining my situation she places me on hold mid sentence. pharmacist David gets on the phone and once I stated my name he placed me on hold never to get back on the line. the lady gets back on the line and starts talking. while I am speaking she states if I do not let her speak I wont understand mind you I was talking at the time. she then states go ahead and wait another 30 minutes fucker and I was placed on another hold by the time I showed up to the other CVS on Henderson to get my prescription filled promptly while I was on hold with the other office who answered the phone and helped out several calls while I was still on hold. I will never return to 58 olive street for pharmaceuticals. worst experience in my life hands down. I called Corporate to make a formal complaint on the horrendous customer service towards patients and how unprofessional the pharmacy handles scripts and people in general they should not be allowed to work with people especially when they are going through situations that they wish they weren't going through. This CVS needs to have there Pharmacy staff fired and hire well educated friendly passionate about there jobs staff who take helping people with the highest priority in a calm and gentle manner, patients are going through enough why not make it easier and comfortable to know they will be taken care of after they come out of the hospital. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE STAFF HERE. I will be letting everyone know in this town NOT to take there business there EVERRRRRRRRRR.
