I normally do not do reviews, but because I have had such a poor experience with Lowes Protection Plan services, I have decided to do a review. I purchased a refrigerator in May 2021, and in March 2022 the ice maker quit working, Lowes sent out an appliance repair technician from Bakersfield to review it, he worked on it, and has been out 2-3 times per month since which has been 7 times to finally tell me it is not repairable. So I have to deal with Lowes protection plan now, which is giving me nothing but the runaround. I am promised a refund and I will receive an email, but no email ever comes. When I call (4 times now), I am asked the same questions and it has gone through, then I am told by someone else, I don't have anything, blah blah blah, even when I have a claim number. I spoke to a supervisor who made sure it was processed, and told me I would get the email with an e-card, have I gotten anything, nope! So, I call back, and I get the same runaround. I finally filed a complaint with the Bureau of Household Goods and Services. This is ridiculous, the service plans are not cheap! While the store itself may be okay, the service plan by Lowes reflects directly on the store as a whole.
