Just like any other home improvement store like the rest of Lowe’s in the USA. This store is located in Porterville, California and it has plenty of parking space. It is along the 198 Highway son it’s very easy to get on and off. A very clean store. The person who helped me at the self checkout was very helpful and patient. This is very helpful especially when buying items that don’t have barcodes such as individual bolts and nuts. These items need to be looked up in their computer. I am glad that this store has my favorite Craftsman Tools. Easy exchange of tools. For those who are looking for inexpensive paint, this Lowes has returned cans of paint that were purchased and returned. Who knows, you might find your color in here. Clean restrooms. Corridors are spacious and clean. I think the quality of their wood is better than other stores I’ve visited. The price on items are a bit higher, however, the quality is better. Best times to go are weekdays not in the mornings or evenings! ?

Employee named Wendy gives attitude towards customer over a coworker's mistake.A family member picked up a curbside order but was given another person's order, as well. I decide to take it back. I arrive for them to "count" the items. Somehow I get scrutinized for bringing the order back myself & not having the original customer( my family member) who picked up the order bring it back.There was no hint of appreciation for bringing it back or an apology for causing us an inconvenience.

I do not recommend Porterville Lowes to anyone for purchasing doors and installation. Porterville Lowes management lacks communication skills and does not care about their customer's. If any issues arise, they pass you on to a new employee or a different manager. Lowes hires unprofessional contractors that lack communication skills. September of 2022, I started Lowes process to special ordered Pella French Doors. The process took over a year due to what Lowes said was shipping delay as well as other issues throughout the process. Lowes employees failed to communicate with their contractor when the doors arrived, causing more delays. Their contractor lacked communication with Lowes personally and me the customer throughout the process. Lowes damaged multiple orders of trim and finally Lowes damaged the special-order Pella French Doors causing me over a year later, 9/26/2023, to cancel my order and get my money back. I still have no door installed due to Porterville Lowes’ lack of business skills and bad contractors that they choose to hire to complete their work.

I bought a bbq online for Fathers Day. I ordered it assembled, and ordered it with lots of time. I was told it would be ready same day for pick up. I called that afternoon to check before I came to get it. They told me it would be ready the next day. Here I am, two days later to pick it up and the BBQ is not assembled AND they cannot find it? I have been waiting 45 minutes and they still cannot find it. This lowes location needs some Serious training and improvement. I will never again purchase from this location and I hope high management realizes this loaction needs help and makes them get their shit together.
