“I was introduced to Troy's Auto Service by others who have used the service and shared that Troy is a really good mechanic and honest as the day is long. I had several occasions to use his services while still living in California and was well satisfied. Now I live in Nevada and recently had the dreaded Check Engine light come on. I found out from AutoZone a certain part was at fault and the price of the part was close to $300. An estimate to replace the part added another estimate of $200. What to do?
I decided to go to Troy even though going back there was inconvenient due to the distance. Troy determined the indicated part itself was OK but my electrical system had been damaged by rodents. Bottom line, Troy did the work with the cost of his labor and a few incidental parts well below the cost of the suspected part! My advice to anyone out there looking for a good mechanic that can be trusted is to go to Troy. Beyond that, once you find some person or business can be trusted to do good work at a fair price, stick with them. Forgive me for all the words!”
“Mike at sierra garage was able to fit me in for an appointment same day. Had just arrived to the area after a three hour drive and had a service light turn on in my truck. I called Sierra garage and explained I needed someone to check it out. They said come on in sometime today and we will check it out. As soon as I arrived I felt like I was the main priority, they looked at my service light and were able to put my concerns to rest. If I were local to the area this is were I would take my vehicles for work and to get service work done. Thank you Sierra Garage!”
