If your looking for a store that is clean, in stock and has friendly employees and great management, look no further! The DG in Portola, CA has all those things and more. The recent remodel that added produce to the already amazing store has me shopping there several times a week! CHECK IT OUT!!!!

I hate that they only have one clerk at the check out. And the self check out is a joke. Why do I have to do someone's job for them. Give me a discount for checking my own self out!

What is the point of staying open this late if it will be card only. Love dollar general but I’m really upset when all I had was cash and I drove all the way here from Cromberg in horrible weather for basically nothing. Can the self check out please accept cash?

Store shelves ALWAYS out of stock/empty with FULL CARTS lining the isles !! Manager said come back tomorrow… BS ! Been this way (actually getting worse if that’s possible) since the store first opened!

Too small...little town but least expensive place to shop. Build a bigger store....pleaseUpdate 2021..this store has stepped up its game. Very organized and regularly stocked. It still gets hit hard when sales start...goes from stocked to wiped out....yep still needs to be bigger...

Cool convenient store for damn near everything you may need to get by until you can get to the grocery store ? also got myself and wifey some pajama pants, fleece! Xmas softy soft warm clothes. I love this store!!....
