New owners are super friendly and accommodating, offering a nice hard liquor selection and fair prices for a small store. The good selection includes donuts, fritters, take n bake pizzas, winter gear, beanies, hats, sodas, chips, propane and ice. Staff is kind, patient and very helpful, making service great for driving through Portola. Gas prices are reasonable and the convenient Lil gas station has pumps, a convenient store and everything you need for road trips or great on the go items.

The new owners are super friendly and accommodating. They have a nice hard liquor selection and the prices are fair for such a small store. Good selection all around and I like grabbing a donut or fritter from them now and then.

From out of town & this place is under new management/ownership & the service was great! The gentleman who was there was so kind & patient with me.
