This shop is one of the good ones. Friendly, knowledgable, and most importantly, I feel treated fairly. No one likes paying for auto repairs, but I always feel slightly better about it after interacting with their awesome staff.

A+ fixed a part regarding oil cooling. A few months later when in Phoenix AZ I began having problems. It turned out to be the same part. When I returned to Poway and explained the situation, including having the original part with me, they refunded the entire balance of part and labor I incurred in Phoenix and gave me a free oil change. Can't get any better than that. I trust A+ to give the best service and will continue to use them in the future. Thank you A+!

I was super happy with my service! My daughter has on older car and I needed an honest estimate of what needed fixed. I love that they send you an easy to read report of their diagnosis. Super friendly staff, communicated well, car service avail if needed. I am definitely going back there for future service.

Great service and good car care from the A+ Autocare team in Poway. Took my low milage 2015 Subaru Forester all wheel drive to them because of sudden poor performance on starting out with jerky motion until reaching 30mph then seemed normal. Oil and filter change done 2 weeks earlier in one of the instant in-out shops in Carmel Mt and the power loss and hesitation noted within the first 1-2 miles of exiting from the oil change. My thoughts were fouled plugs or loose plug wire none which would go along with a simple oil change or possibly the CVT transmission that can occur normally and give similar findings with that type of transmission. So, off to a Transmission shop in Poway where tests were normal and transmission cleared of the cause of hesitation.
Made an Appointment with Dave at A+ now 2 weeks following the cars annoying hesitation. Two hours after the car was dropped at the shop a call from Dave indicated the oil level was 2.5 quarts over full on the dip stick and that was likely the cause of the hesitation and all other monitors indicated no other issues and moreover no panel lights ever popped up.
The A+ service technicians removed the excess 2.5 quarts of oil and the car now runs perfectly for now. I notified the shop where the oil was changed 2 weeks earlier and the manager of that shop called Dave at A+ who confirmed the findings of excess oil in the oil pan all of which can lead to future engine failure, head gasket leaks or catalytic converter damage. So far car running without any of those issues but time will tell and perhaps I'm lucky. A new oil/filter change was performed draining the oil from the plug in the oil pan.
Of great interest is the new techniques of changing oil in many in out shops include an aspiration technique - sucking the old oil via the dipstick channel a method which does work in many cars but is not reliable in the Forester where the old oil cannot be adequately removed; removing the oil pan plug is the accepted method to remove the old oil reliably in this Subaru.
A basic maintenance error like oil overfill can lead to catistrophic engine failure and car owners need to be aware of the hazards of oil changes with over fill. A+ shop discovered the error in my car and hopefully we remedied this issue in time to prevent serious damage. Thanks to the A+ car repair team in Poway! Frank M.

Great experience. Everything was done and the 2004 Avalon now drives like new.
I brought the Avalon in for a different problem which they fixed in a timely mannor. As always the experence was great.

We take all of our work trucks/vans to A+ and they always do a great job. We get them back in a timely manner and we don’t have to bring them back after to fix what they just did like so many other repair shops. The pricing is very fair and you receive constant communication on the status of your vehicle. I’ve even started bringing my personal vehicles to them because of the service quality. I would highly recommend bringing any vehicle to them.

A+ does very thorough work, provide pictures of almost everything to be worked on and give line item charges to review. Cars are now running very well. Good quality overall and honest. Ask for Al he is great!

Great experience. Customer Service Advisor was courteous and informative. They have a computer program that Auto Tech uses to document their assessment of your car and it rates any service needs/recommendations as red/yellow/green and then you can discuss each to get price estimates and determine any next steps. This assessment is sent to your phone via a link and you can then go thru it, point by point, with the Customer Service Advisor. I especially liked the transparency of this and no hard sell. Additionally the waiting room is clean, spacious, coffee available and chairs are comfortable; hard to find these days and important if you are planning to wait while your car is serviced. I have definitely found my new autoshop! My Service Advisor was David and the Auto Tech was Daniel. Altho I need to bring my car back for additional work, it already came out of shop running far better, than when it went in.

Repair was completed in a timely fashion and I was advised on the problem and when it would be completed. I was offered a Uber for a ride home which I did not use. This company is very professional and extremely accommodating.
