Having had an excellent experience over 10 years ago with Allied Van Lines when we moved from the east coast to the west, we looked to Allied again when we needed to move some items back to the east coast. Allied did not disappoint. Traci McCormick was extremely diligent and helpful with every step of the process. Brian Medina with Allied's agent Atlas Transfer & Storage was phenomenal as well. Overall, another excellent experience using Allied Van Lines. We highly recommend Allied.

I purposely waited to write my review until all our things came of our storage here in GA. I wanted to see how many things may have broken moving from our home in Buena Park, CA on August 14, 2024 to Alpharetta, GA. I AM SO PLEASED TO SAY ONLY 1 cheap bowl. Trevor Smith was our representative who came to our home to look over what we would be moving, giving us our quote and really walked us through the process. He was fabulous!! Always available to talk to me when I had questions about how to pack our boxes and even came back out because I thought I had way more boxes then he had quoted us. He was pleasant, friendly and extremely knowledgeable on the process and what we needed to know. The day of our move, Allied arrived. Our driver, Jason Sterling, came before the moving team to apply sticky tags on every single item to be loaded into his truck along with inputting everything into his computer. We loved Jason as well. He was kind, efficient, knowledgeable giving us complete assurance he’d be with his truck the entire drive to Alpharetta. Yes, there would be other people’s belongings with ours but each persons items would have walls to not be mixed up. We packed pretty much everything ourselves; however, there were a few cabinets with glass inlay, as well as other precious items needing to be wrapped professionally which Jason did perfectly (nothing broke!!). Such a blessing to us. The “dream team” (aka the moving team) arrived. Apparently, this team is the BEST in the business and I can vouch for them. They were!! Watching them work was so fascinating as they fit all our things into the truck like a Tetris game. Awesome!! They unassembled things and made sure to either tape it to the piece of furniture/item and/or put in a box marked “parts”. It were definitely impressed and they worked a full day and very hard for us. We did buy them lunch and of course gave them all a tip. Dinner hour the truck was loaded and off on the journey to GA. We drove and Jason gave us an estimate of when he would arrive at our storage unit. He actually was a day earlier than scheduled so good thing we didn’t stay at any one destination but one night as we were pulling our trailer to GA. He gave us his phone number in case anything came up. As for the Trevor’s assistant Traci, she too was friendly, helpful, kind and knowledgeable with the process. Always willing to answer any questions we had with what we should do regarding payment, moving, packing and if she didn’t know, she’d leave a message for Trevor to call us.
Now on the GA end and the crew helping to unload our belongings into our storage unit, we weren’t as pleased with them. I really wanted to direct them to make sure fragile things stayed together and nothing was placed on top of fragile boxes, but I felt like they had such an attitude towards any suggestions so I just watched. Thankfully once again nothing was broken.
All-in-all, we were extremely pleased with using Allied. Just fyi, I did get a price quote from Northern and they were $2,000+ more than Allied. I believe they may have offered a few more services or something but we had already paid a lot of money for moving boxes, paper, etcetera and really didn’t want to spend an extra $2000+. It really needed to be used in other areas of our move. Well done Allied!! Thanks for the great service and all who made our first cross country move excellent.

I had a great experience with Allied Van Lines on my recent move. Traci, the Relocation Consultant is very professional and efficient. She clearly communicated the moving process and made my move from SD to MN smooth and stress free. Also, big Thank You to the Delivery team, Josh, Elijah, Christopher and the Packing team, Cesar and Ed who are polite, responsible and know what they are doing. And most important I received all my household items. Thank you!!

I contacted Allied when I found myself in need of a quick move with a small window. Traci McCormick reached back out to me and took care of me throughout the entire booking process and afterwards. She was able to work with me to get a feasible date and made everything flow so easily. On the day of the move, my driver R.T. Peterson. He directed the work with a calm, friendly manner. I have moved many times, but never had one as easy as working with Traci, R.T. and Allied. I would absolutely hire the team again in the future. Thank you for everything!

My family and I have had the pleasure of working with Gust Nelson, Allied’s Relocation Consultant, numerous times throughout the years, and there is no one we would trust more than Gust and his team to move our belongings from one location to another…. in this latest case, my move from Louisiana to Florida. Starting with his Move Coordinator, Traci McCormick, who kept me apprised from our initial contact through payment and delivery, to their van driver, Chad Jacobsen, who arrived timely at both ends, to their local packers in both Louisiana and Florida, everyone was extremely courteous and professional, despite the rain on pick-up day. They are a finely-tuned machine, and I highly recommend them when considering your next move.

Writing this to express my gratitude for a really satisfactory experience with Allied/Atlas. It started with phone call to Allied that was taken by Traci McCormick. My husband and I were planning a move to Northern California. Traci lived up to job title--Relocation Specialist. Enter Nick Sica. Nick is a relocation consultant. He is so much more. Traci and Nick were the deciding factor in our choosing Allied. Karen Snyder came on board next. Her title is Moving Specialist. That she is! Next up was Tyler Capshaw---Master hauler and his band of assistants: Ernie,Joey and Frank. These folks all contributed to the "zero headache move " that Nick mentioned when we told him of our choice to use Allied. Really glad to have this opportunity to express what a great collection of employees these folks are.

Excellent experience with Allied Van Lines across price and service. My Oregon to California move project wasn't that large, but communication was great. Traci was regularly available to answer any questions and knew the operation well. Our driver Eddie was also reliable, on time and great to work with. He helped mark off boxes. Both Eddie and Traci were proactive with communication. All around great experience.

Our Move from California to New Mexico went really well. Our furniture arrive to our new home in a timely matter and our driver, Lakevion Thomas and his crews at both ends did a great job loading and unloading. Thanks to Trevor Smith, our relocation consultant and his assistant Traci McCormick for keeping up with all the changes we made to our inventory before the load out. The price was really great too, plus we didn't have to load anything like other moving options.

Kyle delivered furniture to three family members homes all over San Diego county. He did an amazing job! We all agree he was very careful with our antiques, unloading and bringing them to our homes. Kyle was also very friendly and respectful. The whole experience, from the dispatcher on Friday, the communication from each team member we talked to, was a very easy process and pleasant experience. I will definitely keep Allied in mind if I ever have any future moving needs.
