“I like shopping Stater Brothers. It's clean, well lit, well organized, well stocked. The produce is consistently plentiful and high quality. Nicholas has always been most helpful in that department. One suggestion I would like to make is that there is entirely way too much conversation going on between employees. Especially the courtesy clerks who bag the groceries. They discuss a wide range of topics such as movies, video games, partying, breaks, shifts, when the got there, when they're leaving, how long they have or have had to work, more partying, hie much they hate working at Stater Brothers. It's inappropriate and completely unprofessional and I feel so uncomfortable hearing these convos. I'm not eavesdropping, they're saying this at the checkout while I'm standing there. Where am I supposed to go to get away from it? When they get carts from the parking lot they usually do it with their phones in their hands. And they're super rude too. They need more training and better supervision. I've addressed it with the manager but there is never any improvement. Oh well, I think I'm too old school and need to just accept that Stater Brothers knows customers are going to come in regardless so why should they bother expecting their employees to deliver basic courtesy.”

“Very helpful, thorough and well spoken. Kept focus on my transactions and answered all my questions efficiently. Also the whole team seems new and effective. So I'll be coming to this branch more often to conduct business. The British teller was very helpful with my transactions and was very helpful showing me the mobile app.”

“What I like about this place is that they give you cash. But they take it from your bank account and I don't like that. It is also frustrating that they take money from your account. But this place is still good and the atm machine works good.”

“Opening my account with Citibank online has resulted in multiple issues. I couldn't get my login until I have my ATM card number. It took multiple calls and transfers to find out later that they had failed to mail it out in the first place. Calling Citibank without your atm card takes you through a blackhole. The phone options just going into infinite loops where you cannot get a live person. After I have finally received my ATM card and login, I wanted to add a beneficiary. Customer service said they cannot mail a form. To add a beneficiary to my account, I had to go into a branch (during COVID-19). I went to two branches on Black Friday in which they closed early before noon. As frustrated as I was, I finally arrived Poway and was greeted by Michelle O. She advised me it is Citibank policy that they can add a beneficiary on a saving account only - but cannot do so on a checking account. I was just that close in closing out my new account at that point. She was very professional and said perhaps her manager could explain better regarding the reason. The manager came over and said it is 'just the Citibank policy'. Ok. Thanks. After talking to at least 6 different people at Citi since my account was opened, Michelle was the only one who listened and actually looked for solution to solve my issues. I understand banks sometimes have stupid policy that employees have to comply with. It is not always easy to explain things that clearly don't make sense to anyone. Despite all my frustrations, Michelle was nice and professional during my entire time there. I can see why Citi got such low ratings across the board. Citibank, you are so lucky to have Michelle at your branch. If I was still in banking, I would have offered her a job and recruited her in a heartbeat. This five star is solely based on my experience with Michelle Keep up the good work!”
