“This is a great temple. This temple is in Poway with easy access from most North neighborhoods near Rancho Bernardo. The temple is clean and maintained well by the Management. The two young priests do a great job. There are several special Pooja’s every week. They have their own WhatsApp group if you want to get regular updates on events. They also have a small hall for vocal concerts etc. This is the only temple in San Diego that is not in a strip mall and has its own big parking area. The manage Tamala Devi does a great job managing daily activities and dealing with sponsors of the Pooja’s. Has enough space to perform wedding etc. Volunteers do an excellent job.”

“This is a very welcoming congregation. A few years ago I walked through the doors and remembered immediately feeling very at ease with the open non pretentious vibes. I had been to a few area temples and this one was the one that really drew me in. The services are a mix of classic Reform sings and even some traditional tunes with a non judgmental tone. Even though I live in Oceanside, the beautiful sanctuary, warm people and services brought me back and won my full membership. Congregants are interested in you, and are engaging. The Rabbi and Cantor love kids and welcome families and don't mind if the children want to run around and be themselves. The Rabbi is very relaxed but also has a depth of understanding of classical Jewish texts and subjects for those who want to study. Its a modest size Reform Jewish synagogue with alot to offer relative to the size of the congregation.”

“Saint Mike's is a beautiful church in many ways. I am by no means an expert on church interiors, but I can definitely pronounce the interior of this church as beautiful, modern and relaxing.I attended a memorial mass for a recently departed friend and found the ceremony to be interesting and well performed. Brevity was also a factor.I kept thinking, my oh my, things have changed since I was an altar boy and the mass was in Latin.”
