I've been a customer here for a handful of oil changes and up until my last one i was pretty satisfied. During my last oil change when I got home I noticed a ding on my hood and a spot below my hood. I took my car back, showed them, they took pictures and said they will file a claim and get back to me. Never heard from anyone, not Firestone or any insurance company. Fastforward for my next 6K oil change I decide to go to Oil Changers instead. The people working on my car showed me my oil filter and that a cylinder in the middle was missing and there is no way it fell out which means it was missing or never put back in over the course of the few times I brought my car to Firestone. It's not a super important piece but I should have been notified.
I bought a new one just to sit in the side of caution and decided to bring the old one to Firestone. The first thing the man behind the counter said was my car will work fine, yes I understand, I proceeded to tell him that I was never informed of it missing. He told me I basically should have known it was missing. Now why would I know that if I'm not doing my own oil changes. To be honest it pissed me off and did become argumentive because they did not seem to want to solve the problem or suggest a reimbursement for the new one I purchased for Oil Changers.
I brought up the ding on my car and a guy says that he remembers that and that he submitted a claim and once he does that he washes his hands of it. But I was never contacted by Firestone or by the insurance company letting me know if the claim was denied. That is such a high level of unprofessionalism and I will never return there nor recommend going there to anyone.

I've been coming to this Firestone since 2020 and even though I moved out of the neighborhood I still come back to this location for the fantastic service. They are always welcoming, helpful, and don't try to trick you into getting services you don't need. Highly recommend.

This recent visit to Firestone was my first in Poway. At the start it was difficult to connect to schedule an appointment. Multiple unanswered calls, no ability to leave a message. Same issues checking in and getting follow up calls answered while in service. Reality check - contact w/Andrea and I think Brian, Mngr? made it clear, they were busy and short handed. They were just as frustrated as I was becoming. No complaining from either, just doing the best they could under the current conditions.
Thank you Andrea & Brian! I'm in Escondido, I still need add'l service recommended. I will arrange and be sure this work is done in Poway thxs to these Gentlemen who stayed patient and took care of me all day long.

Came in for a wheel alignment, but unknowingly, alignment was already good. They didn’t charge me for inspecting and possibly slight tweaking. Appreciate the honesty
