Purchased and had installed Mohawk carpet installed through Home Depot. One room the carpet was installed in is rarely used and a low traffic room. The carpet lost its ability to stand up and lays flat in a large area. It is very noticeable. This happened at less than 2 years after the install. Home Depot sent an inspector and the inspector agreed that it wasn't right and the carpet shouldn't have done that. Home Depot denied the claim to repair/replace even after there inspector said it was not right. Long story short the lifetime product they sell it's not truly lifetime. I do not recommend Home Depot or their Mohawk carpet brand.

Worst customer service ever. Came here and found a plant which was on sale for $14.99. Went to self check out and there was a woman scanning. They scanned the plant and it came up to $19.99. I said "oh those are on sale" and she said-can you go take a photo of the price and show it to me. Mind you-the place I picked the plant was not close to the cashier register, so I just said forget it and left without the plant. Maybe hop on that walkie talkie and ask someone for a price check. Last I checked, I'm not an employee of Home Depot. Good luck finding someone to help you. After 2020, hard to find anyone that wants to work or help.

Home Depot has been nothing but an absolute headache. I've gone multiple times and they are unhelpful, if you can even find someone to ask. In addition, they may decide to close early but won't let you know in any way besides putting a sign in their window letting you know their hours for the day. I placed an order pickup for today and I got an email that I could pick up before 8. When I went to pickup, they told me they actually closed at 7 so I'd have to come back. I feel like that could've been sent in the email... like, not a big deal to close early but in this day and age, you could find a way to let people know so they don't waste their time. Skip the headache and head to Lowe's

I mentioned that the door was open. And the man just kept saying “we’re closed, bye, have a good night” in a snarky and sassy way. His customer service was really poor and rude. Instead of kindly advising customers he was very rude and condescending. I told him he didn’t have to be rude or snarky but he continued in a poor tone. He said he was the manager but I hope Home Depot doesn’t have such a poor standard of customer service as their management. Customer service is key to any business. The door was still open after we left. This was the worst customer service at any Home Depot I’ve been. In the past I had positive experiences there but this interaction was very disappointing. Home Depot please train your management in customer service.

The actual worst Home Depot for picking up online orders. Does it normally take an hour for someone to bring your order out to your car? This has happened to us twice now here at this location, picking up online orders for our new home. Unfortunately, this was the only store location that our orders could be shipped to. Otherwise I would not have come here the second time. I will avoid at all costs in the future, even if I have to pay more somewhere else. I don't have hour to waste sitting in my car.

I bought a refrigerator on 11/21/23. I was promised delivery 11/24/23. No one called me. So I called them and they hung up on me three times. The 4th time I got a person who said they hung up because they didn't want to tell me that it was not going be delivered until 11/26. It was not. I called again. I have talked to HD which told me that I had to talk to Electrolux myself. (I ordered it from HD., why do I have to talk to the mgf?) Now it's 11/27 and still no refrigerator. No one knows where it is. "It's in the warehouse. It's on the truck." Meanwhile I have no refrigerator and no actual delivery date. No one has ever called me. I have to keep calling. So frustrating! If I could give them zero stars I would. Lost my business forever. Worst service ever.

October 25, the lady at the customer service/ return section was very rude not only to me but also to her co-worker next to her. I remember that was not a newbie, I have seen her in the past. I was looking for an oil radiant heater that they had in stock (25 pieces showed online) She said it was "not in season"! Huh, I said to her it was 48° last night, but they had the Xmas items and decorations already up! Go figure I was determined to purchase the item. Spoke with another customer service gentleman, and he checked, and they had 25 units available on Aisle 5 Bay 12 all the way on the top shelf. After my purchase, I went back to the customer service/return section and showed the lady my purchase, and asked her to know what Home Depot Poway has in stock and a attitude check up

Deplorable. Not enough workers on the aisles/floor or registers during riush hour. -was looking up and down a few adjacent aisles for 10+ minutes and there were no flloor associates. Plenty of customers on the floor but not enough workers to help you find a product. - stood in line for 15+ minutes during rush hour. Store did not open any registers. There were only 2 open and customers decide to have a conversation at the register and hold up the line. -asked a worker if they can open a register and she said no. -deplorable---reminds me of the customer service/product return line at walmart. You wait in line for a long time. -workers seem disinterested when working there when asking for help. - upper management needs to find other cost saving solutions and hire more people.

I just picked up 2 oval mirrors by Moen I ordered online for my master bath remodel. At customer service the crew was all pleasant and I was referred to Victoria. She was so pleasant and perky. I was delighted after meeting rudeness at Costco's customer service, admittedly for the first time. Victoria was the perfect antidote.

Y'all are getting taken advantage of like I've never seen before. The same Milwaukee battery is $71 on Amazon. Meanwhile at Home Depot it's $159. I'm not buying Milwaukee at Home Depot.

I almost became a FORMER Home Depot customer recently after being a loyal one for over 20 years, but the credit for bringing me back goes to this super star: CYNTHIA PEELE (aka Cindy Lou), Appliance Specialist at at Home Depot, Tech Center Dr, Poway CA. If you're looking for the definition of EXCELLENT customer service her name would be next to it and because of her, I'm back to shopping at Home Depot. Here's why.... On 5/3/23, I purchased a refrigerator online, but their system would not let me include the haul away of the old refrigerator, a $50 charge that I was more than willing to pay. I thought this would be a simple issue to resolve especially since I was still a week out from delivery. So, I called Home Depot's 800 number and ended up speaking to 3 different people. Each stated that their system did not allow any modifications to the order. I was finally told to call the store processing the order, the Mira Mesa store, which should be able to contact the delivery company directly. I then spoke to 3 people at the Mira Mesa store who also said the system didn't allow modifications to the order and was told they couldn't contact the delivery company because there was no way to charge it in the system. I felt like each Home Depot rep was more interested in getting me off the phone than truly trying to find a resolution to what I thought was a simple issue. I even suggested that I could come into the store before delivery to pay for the haul away but was once again told "the system will not allow that"....uggggg Needless to say I was extremely frustrated that Home Depot was willing to lose a $2,300 order over a system issue that didn't allow it to add a $50 haul away fee. The next day as I was running errands, I decided to pop into the Home Depot store in Poway to cancel this order as it was the closest store to where I was at the time. Even though she was busy, Cindy listened to my concerns and could tell that I was frustrated dealing with this order. She then said she would try to help me (even though my purchase was through another store) and contacted their 800 number. She suggested that they email the delivery company to let them know that the customer wanted a haul away and waited on the phone until she saw the notes in the system (she also advised that Home Depot might charge me later for the haul away to which I was okay with)...wow..30 minutes later, she'd found a mutually acceptable resolution and had taken care of an issue that I'd spent 2 days trying to resolve on my own. Not one of the SIX, I repeat 6 other Home Depot representatives had suggested a simple email. Cindy apologize for my experience with this order and let me know that I could come into her store anytime if I have questions/concerns regarding appliances. She stated that she believes in helping any customer regardless of which Home Depot store gets the credit for an order because it's one Home Depot (how great is that that an employee would look at their store/position in a global company-wide way). Cindy is friendly, knowledgeable and emits a positive energy that's contagious. She appears to provide the kind of service that she would like if she was the customer. Cindy definitely put the "Customer" back into customer service for me. I walked into her store frustrated, disappointed with Home Depot and ready to cancel a $2,300 order. I walked out without canceling the order and feeling better about Home Depot. It didn't take much, but she showed that she cared and because of that I'm going to order my remaining kitchen appliances and flooring from Home Depot. THANK YOU Cindy Lou.

I've been visiting the Home Depot store in Poway often the past few weeks and almost every time I go in there is a line of people at the self checkout waiting to gain access to scan and pay for their items. There are at least 4-6 self checkout registers but only 2 that are open. The scanning of items is usually interrupted by a "helpful" sales person who usually slows down the already slow process. It says "self checkout"! Some people need help I guess, but I don't. There are usually 5-6 people waiting in line to check out it would be helpful to have more than 2 self checkout lanes open. It would also be helpful if the staff would stop talking and joking around with each other and help their customers.
