We have been using Mitchell product for many years (books and software). Our experience has been excellent using Mitchell's books and software. Mitchell offered us the lowest price for such a great product and Mitchell customer service has been excellent. Last but not least, Jay and Ronnie were very knowledgeable and they had clearly explained Mitchell software product in details and provided us unmatchable customer service.

STAY AWAY from this company, They charge you for things you don't authorize and then threaten to shut you off for the unauthorized services. I specifically told them I did not want the back office service, But they've been charging me for a year for it and are now threatening to shut me off if I don't pay them almost $900 dollars for an unauthorized service. Plus they refuse to fix it and this is AFTER they tell you the wrong price from the start. The price they give you is only a promotion, But they don't tell you that it doubles to $496 dollars a month after twelve months. They do not tell you this.

Worst customer service ever.. Called me everyday promoting Mitchel1., Once I decided to sign up 3 shops and signed their agreements and setup fees were taken from my bank account, salesman disappeared. Canceled my service with them after 3 weeks of no communication and having a hard time getting my refund for charged setup fees.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zero stars. I signed up for a "Free trial" via my scanner I use for car repair and had a slimy Austin Sharp call me. The first thing out of his mouth was "Are you a shop? because this is not for regular people". He then told me they didn't have a Free trail but then told me he needed approval. Just today I had two different sales reps call me from this office only for one to hang up on me and the other try to upsell me on a newer trial. A bunch of clowns must work here. So much racist comments about sending call centers overseas but at least overseas workers have decent humanity and have a job they want to keep. If you are a buyer, remember that these nerds in San Diego will be the ones who answer customer service calls.

Have been using the software for the past 8 years now and can confidently say that it is by far the best shop tool anyone could have. Very useful for workshop manuals, managing invoices and everything in between. Highly recommend to anyone considering taking their shop to the next level.

I don't recommend Mitchell1 products.
If you're not satisfied with the service your option is to keep paying them or go out of business. They hang onto a b.s. contract and wont let you go higher than a call center rep.
Don't get trapped in this, you can get the same information off a google search.
Update after response: I am not wasting any more of my time having a call center rep tell me theres nothing more that can be done and theres nobody to talk to with authority to help in a meaningful way.
Yes basic internet searches has been a tremendous help when Mitchell 1 fails to have information on pretty much all European cars and technical information I've needed on Ford vehicles as well.
The second I'm out of contract I'm dropping you like a bad habit. Good services don't need shady contracts locking people iin.

Love this convention, this is my second year and take back something new back that I learned at each convention . I love meeting new shops and hearing how different shops work and utilize the help that they offer also on how to better our shop.
I look forward to attend the next convention. Thank you Mitchell for offering this to us shop users because it don’t matter how long you have been using Mitchell there is always something new. All your Mitchell Reps and vendors are always so welcoming, friendly but most of all helpful.
