We love this place for a quick lunch. Always stop here for the baba ganoush when we're in town.

Food is good quality although the koubideh kabab is now dry. At first opening years ago, it was juicy and not dry but now it is. The prices have rocketed to such that I don't go often at all anymore sadly. Even the mast o moussir is too expensive. I used to take out the family plate for 47$ at that time, that was enormous in salad, rice, koubideh, barg, chicken we could all eat decently. Now it's close to 70$ and quantities have shrewd down. Do I never take it anymore. But I always appreciate the place, the tea is delicious and I like the ambiance casual. I take a bowl of a (ache) now it's in my budget and I seat and watch.

If you're looking for a place that has good food but bad service, this is the spot. The people treat you like you're such an inconvenience because they have to do their job.

Stopped here for lunch after a hike in Julian. Their portion sizes are huge! I had plenty of leftovers for another meal. I got the ground beef kabobs plate. I wish the plate came with sauces since the dish itself is a little dry. The shop has plenty of seating and is good for large groups. They also have self serve hot water and tea, a nice bonus on a rainy day when we came. Go check them out!

If you're in the area, stop by the restaurant at Northpark produce for an authentic Persian meal. Persians have mastered the craft of grilling the juiciest meats, freshly baked bread, and of course there's saffron rice. I promise you'll have leftovers for days!!!

We got the naan from here. They make is fresh and the size is huge. The taste is perfect. The people are friendly, service is quick and ambiance is casual. I have not tried any of their other food options, but highly recommend for fresh naan.

If there was a zero I would give it Ordered a fries with beef shawarma Frozen fries still soft Shawarma lacks taste and texture is of rubber To add insult to the experience there was no sauce or condiment on the shawarma. When I called to store it they had forgotten to apply sauce and they said that sauce is on the side but not included unless the customer asks for it ... a little but important detail that is left out from the menu or when you order And yes .. they never called my name. After a long enough wait I headed up to the counter and picked up my order Disappointed in many aspects with this place. Never going back.

All the staples of a Persian market plus a small restaurant serving Persian food! Will definitely come back to shop and to pick up some kabobs.

Food is great. There is a reason it's always busy. Don't be surprised if the wait is a while; it's worth it.

We love this restaurant and go here often for lunch and order their family meals for our party dinners. There is usually a short line at lunch and dinner. The portions are generous and their kabobs are juicy. There is free tea and water for customers. The market is attached and that's a great place to shop for fresh produce, deli meats, feta and olives, spices, and meats.

First off the food was great but service was not there. Possibly it was a slight language barrier that made the man at the cash register off putting but nonetheless he was not welcoming. When my family and I came in there was hardly any people in the place but it picked up after we ordered. We ordered two salads and two chicken plates and we waited about 35 mins for our food to come out. Which is crazy. The girl delivering our food was really nice and brought hot sauce and extra plates right away that we needed. The food was good though and my family and I enjoyed it. The chicken was super juicy and tender and the gyro meat on my salad was delicious. The hot sauce they gave us had a nice little kick.

Fruits and vegetable selection has been greatly expanded and the quality also went up a notch while prices remain affordable. The bakery next door is a bonus. Not only is the food delicious and authentic, the staff is super friendly and helpful.

My mother has been coming here for years as a loyal customer as she loves the great deals. She loved it so much she would even recommend it to other people. However my mother will not return to the store ever again as she was embarrassed by the staff by accusing her of stealing a single bottle of oil. My mother came to the store with intentions to exchange a faulty bottle that would not open no matter how hard you try. When she came to the store to exchange, she explained to the cashier the matter and the cashier even tried it out for himself to open the bottle to which he also couldn’t and agreed that it cannot be opened. However, instead of simply exchanging the bottle, he called over a fellow staff member, where my mom thought he was asking for help. After discussing with each other in their language, they asked for the receipt from my mom which she didn’t have as it was purchased long before (my mom’s intention was to just exchange the bottle or receive store credit and admits she had been forgetting to exchange it). Since there wasn’t a receipt, the other staff member accused my mom of stealing the bottle off the shelf. To which my mom strongly denied and even told them to check the security footage, but their response was “the office is closed”. After interrogating my mom, the cashier just told the other staff member to get a different one off the shelf. In that case, the interrogation was just a waste of both party’s time and just resulted in humiliating my mom in front of other customers. When they went to the shelf to exchange the bottle, the cashier grabbed a different bottle of the same oil and saw that it was easy to open unlike the one my mom was trying to exchange. Ironically, the faulty bottle was placed back onto the shelf. My mom left the store stressed out and was on the verge of crying. It ruined her whole night as the incident raised her blood pressure. Would a person ruin their name for a simple bottle of oil?

One of the cashier at this store is extremely rude. I believe her name is Setareh if I’m not wrong (she has light eye color and highlighted hair). Every time I go to this store, I do my best to not end up on her line since she’s very unprofessional. She doesn’t know how to say hi or how to wear a smile, which are simplest thing required as a customer service worker. Today, she didn’t even bother to put my purchases in my bag, with all my purchases spread out on the counter she just moved on to the next customer!! Like what the heck?! Do you even know what you’re responsibilities are?!
