This store is well-stocked generally. When stock is low, they will help find alternatives or tell you when another shipment of desired item is due to arrive. Vet and Grooming are on-site at this location - I haven't used either service. Customer Service is generally fine. The exception in the Customer Service arena is one employee who works the register and is working often. She is very surly and indifferent, and does not quickly end personal conversations with other employees to assist customers.

Very nice store and the staff is very helpful and kind. The only thing that could be improved is getting carts to your car. There is no sidewalk ramp so you need to be able to carry heavy stuff like cat liter to your car trunk which can be difficult at this location.

They always treat the family dog well. Almost all of his toys are from Petco.

I went into the Poway Petco store to buy some cat food. I was pleased to see that the brand & flavors I was looking for were in stock and the prices were very reasonable. The associate at checkout was very friendly and personable. She rang up my purchases quickly and efficiently. I will be shopping more often at Petco for cat food since you started carrying more of the brands that my cats will eat!

My dog just had his stitches taken out & the vet wanted me to prevent him from licking without a surgical sleeve. The girl that helped me went way beyond the call of duty. She was so helpful. She knew I was almost in tears. She fitted & even put a donut on my dog & off we went. I wish I would have gotten her name. I believe she was one of the trainers at the Poway store. She deserves a gold star.

Stopped by to grab a little something for my (cat) neighbor. The store was super neat and organized. What I appreciated the most was that there was no animal smell and my allergies didn't kick in. The staff was very helpful and friendly, I know nothing about cats or how to obtain coupons or discount stuff.

As always PETCO is 5 STARS!! Got the best price in town on wet dog food and picked up a bunch of clearance outfits for our pups. Love this place.

My dog Kona attended the Canine good citizen training which set her up for success! Kona passed the test and is now certified KGC thanks to the excellent training from Cassidy. The classes were set up in a very logical manner and the dogs in the class did so well. Thank you Petco and trainer Cassidy. Kona’s success allows us to join a therapy dog group and our goal is to visit as many institutions that we can. Our way of giving back.
