Get everything in writing!! I recently purchased a new CR-V and asked if they could include all-weather mats and key fob protectors as part of the deal. They said yes, but the parts department was currently close so I would have to come back and get them. When I returned, I was told I only asked for one key fob and only passenger mats- not the trunk mat. After speaking with the finance manager- he told me that they were never part of the deal and when I referred our conversation, told me I was wrong and confused on what I wanted. He then continued to mix his own words and explain he has no ability to make such deals, so he never said anything of the sort, but he could help me out by giving me a $10 discount on the requested accessories. Disheartening- as this is my first car and a huge life purchase. I can't wait for my new license plates to arrive so I can remove their name off my car. I hope someone seeing this will take precautions to make sure they are satisfied after spending a lot of money. I know I will go elsewhere moving forward and I've already referred friends to other Honda locations and they've had great buying experiences.UPDATE (10/20/23): I called in for a week and a half and never got a call back. It has been three months so I have given up. Reached out to Pacific Honda and they immediately gave me a discount when I told them my situation to helped with the cargo mat, changed my license plates and addressed the an issue with my key fobs.

Made an appointment online to get my maintenance done. After inspection they said that I needed to get my rear brakes and brake fluid changed. At first I wanted to check out some other places to see if it would be cheaper so I declined but after checking I ended up changing my mind. I got a text saying my maintenance was done but I wanted to get the other services done so I called the center but apparently they only notify the service team through email which they're not constantly checking especially if they're busy. I didn't hear anything back from Honda so I texted asking if they were still working on it and they mentioned the previous text about it being done. I let them know I called a few hours ago and it turns out they never got the notification about the change in services. Dane immediately called me to see what was going on and I explained that I did actually want the other services done. Even though it was about an hour before they closed they were able to get everything done in time and was very friendly about the situation!

Took my car in for regular maintenance and found that there was new damage when I picked it up. Honda did not pay for the damage or pay for a rental when it took a week to fix mine. They were unresponsive and unhelpful. If you have to use this business, be sure to check for damage before leaving!

By far the best dealer experience I've ever had. Esteban was easy very easy to work with when we bought our car. I told him (over text) what we wanted, how much we wanted to pay and that was that! At the dealer, we were in and out faster than than every other time we've bought a car. Would definitely recommend to others! For how much we saved vs. other dealers, we'd make the drive again!

I can't say enough good things about the service department! To a person, they are honest, professional, customer-friendly, sincere, and they know their stuff! I moved to San Diego from out of state a few years ago and as I searched for reputable Honda service, other Honda owners recommended Poway. Although I live closer to other Honda servicers, I chose Poway Honda service and am delighted to make the drive for all they offer. Thanks to them for the excellent work.

I had a fantastic buying experience with Poway Honda.Specifically Mr. Mickey Perez did such an outstanding job answering all the questions I had, but most importantly was very kind not pushy what so ever.We had visited several other dealers before coming to Poway Honda and Mickey was the only salesman that seemed genuinely authentic.I would definitely recommend doing business with Mickey and the rest of the team.

We have great experience buying cars at Poway Honda. We bought two cars in the past two years with Mickey Perez. Both times, he provided excellent customer service. He is an exceptional communicator. The finance officer, Rhodel, also made going through all the documents a breeze.

We are very happy with this dealership today and for their help the last few weeks. They answered all of our questions and accommodated our needs. We were able to borrow the car for a pre purchase inspection with our mechanic. They treated us so nicely and were not aggressively trying to sell us a vehicle. We shall see how the vehicle treats us. So far so good.

My experience trying to sell a vehicle wasn't the most pleasant. I got an instant offer with Kelly Blue book and a few dealerships reached out, including Honda in Poway. Maria was the representative that I was working with. She didn't seem to know much about vehicles. Asking me questions about the vehicle after the "inspection". Seemed very irritated and slightly rude. Came in lower than what Kelly blue books trade in value because of star on windshield. I wouldn't waste time here unless you want a low boll offer and more.Took my vehicle to Toyota next door and they were much nicer.

* Service Review Only *I must admit when I first came to this place I was so confused where the entrance to their service line was because of their small construction area, and ended up driving around the entire building. Oops. I brought my car in for some routine tune ups and had the pleasure of working first with Al, and the technician (Jose) discovered an oil leak of unknown source. I brought it back two weeks later for reinspection (this time working with Dane) after they put some powder (I think?) on it and figured out it was both front axles along with a crank sensor seal leaking. Yay for me. What's a lazy gal who doesn't know anything about cars to do? Just get it fixed I suppose. Loved working with both service advisors - super kind and helpful. And lastly, to note - I appreciated that no sales people tried to get me to sell/trade-in my car and buy a new one. Not quite ready for that just yet.

Luis was very helpful from when I made first contact via email to finding me the exact car I wanted to having the car ready for me right when I arrived from 3.5 hrs away to test drive. Luis and the rest of the team, finance manager, document control, all made it an easy, pleasurable experience. I will definitely be back to Poway Honda for my next Honda, hands down.

Mickey was a delight to work with. He was able to answer all of our questions in a straightforward manner with no embellishment. We bought our 1st Honda from him 2 years ago and now we’ve worked with him again in buying our new 2023 Honda. We’ll be back again in a couple of years if not sooner ??

This was my first car purchase after losing my family truck I drove for 12 years due to a interstate hydroplane incident.I did my research, looked about 40 cars, requested info from numerous dealerships and found a Used car that was within my budget here at Poway Honda.These representatives are professional, courteous and are flexible.My Rep showed me the Ins and Outs of the vehicle, went over the CarFax and previous history. Luckily I was there to test drive the Used car prior to servicing to see any cosmetic or mechanical related issues. This car was for me and within a week the car was ready after servicing.My Financing Rep was also a pleasure to work with and went over all the terms/conditions and contractual agreements required in depth and in a way that's easy to understand.For others looking for there first car purchase, you can not go wrong at Poway Honda.
