Great service from everyone working here. They are knowledgeable and patient. PWG has a nice store with a good variety to choose from. Their range is pretty standard. Took a class and learned so much. I can't rave about this place enough. Located in Poway (close to the Costco) with a free parking lot available.

Took my 92x RDO compact in to get night sights installed. They messed up the finish on the slide and the front sight looks slightly bent to the right. Didn't have the time to talk to anyone about it because I wash in a rush to get to work. Not mad, just wish better care was taken for someone else's property.

"PWG Range in Poway is a fantastic facility for gun enthusiasts of all levels. The range offers a safe and professional environment for shooting practice and training. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. The range itself is well-maintained, with a variety of shooting lanes and target options to cater to different preferences. Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your skills or an experienced shooter seeking a top-notch range, PWG Range in Poway is a great choice. I highly recommend this range for a positive and enjoyable shooting experience."

Convenient location but not a good range unfortunately. Service is poor and lacks efficiency.

I had an amazing experience at PWG Range. All the guys were so nice and helpful. Anytime I needed something someone was always right there ready to help. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the most friendly team. Really excellent group of guys here. John is so patient and passionate about his work. As a former cop he gives you access to his extensive training on firearms and offers his card with his email in case you have any questions after the class. I didn't realize how difficult shooting was but after learning from John I felt so confident. I'm excited to become a member here. Lastly, the value for the class far exceeded the price. You get to shoot a good amount and also the ear and eye protection is included which I thought was a great deal. All around A+ for this range.

Beautiful store but with that comes high prices. I came in to renew my FSC and to look at Sig P365. Ultimately, I purchased the P365. Following that I looked around at other firearm stores in San Diego and was unhappy to find out I paid $60 more than all other SD firearm storefronts. Discount Gun Mart and Ammo bros both have the P365 for $719, PWG sells for $779 -- 8% markup vs other locations. I looked at other firearms as well, the Springfield Hellcat OSP is $599 everywhere in SD, at PWG it's $633 - 5.6% markup vs other locations. When picking up my firearm, I expressed this concern and asked what could be done in good faith. I also shared that I was also looking at the Hellcat OSP. Nobody in the store could make a decision, they had to call "The GM" -- I picked up on aggravation in having to make the call, which resulted in a range coin. Thanks but no thanks. I understand it was my fault for not checking prices before making a purchase. I'm leaving this review in hopes I can save some folks some money when they're in the market for a new firearm. I will not be over paying for my Hellcat at this location.

Very modern and clean. Staff was great, Steve V was the BEST! Nice selection of rentals. I would say their range ammo is a bit pricey but none the less, PWG is my favorite range to go to.

I was looking to buy ammo. I am a California resident and purchased guns in the past but not within the last 5 years. I got confused with the online information. I asked the guy at the front desk for advice and he gave me great advice and options. I was looking to get a 22 pistol and got a great deal on a Ruger Mark II. Great shooting gun. bit of a learning curve to reassemble it. Took the test and was all set to purchase ammo. I am a member now and the service at the counter for lanes is always top notch. Great place to shoot. I would recommend this business highly to anyone.

Hey, I came in this evening to buy a new firearm and I was helped at the counter by a staff member, Kayvon. I'm pretty new to shooting and visiting a range. But one thing I've noticed at some gun stores and ranges is that the staff can be pretty unhelpful and talk down to patrons. They seem to sport some kind of "elitist" attitude and have a chip on their shoulder. I don't get it!! But that is NOT what I have experienced at PWG in Poway the last few months when I have visited. I have experienced friendly helpful staff who are super experienced in merchandise and protocol and who have been upbeat and respectful and patient with their visiting guests. This evening Kayvon was quick to help me and answer all of my (several ) questions, he knowledgeably showed me gun options to consider for my purchase, and answered all my questions about becoming a member at PWG range, suggesting the best option for my needs. And I didn't feel pressured!! I truly felt like a valued customer and he made me feel at home. I can't wait to come back! Thank you PWG and Kayvon and all the staff...I'll see you soon!

To keep a long story short, I don't think I will ever come back again.1. When I tried to check in, the older man around 60yo treated me like I walked into the wrong building. I had to tell him I wanted a lane. I had to resign the liability form, but when I just made the first letter of my name, he tried to tell me that enough as if I was wasting his time. I ignored him and properly signed my name anyway.2. The range is a serious health hazard. You can hear a fan, but the ventilation is abysmal, because you don't have to shoot and your eyes will water up from all the particulates lingering around the lanes. Myself and other shooters were literally hotboxing heavy metals.3. I'm waiting in the proper line to checkout and the guy behind the counter lets a group of three just cut ahead.4. When it came to checkout, the last straw was the short Asian lady automatically tacking on a gratuity fee like I had a birthday party. And the way she framed it was as if it was mandatory, until she said there was an "other" button. All I did was sign in and sign out. What exactly did they do to justify gratuity and then try to force it on me? I held my tongue, chose "0%" and paid the fee for my time spent. Then after my card showed "approved," she just walks away saying nothing to randomly grabs some cardboard backings. So I'm just left standing there. No "thank you for shooting at PWG," no nothing. She most likely was upset she didn't get a tip and that was her way of taking it out on me.I don't understand it, but it's like these employees are there to collect a check, but at the same time, don't want to be there and that bleeds into their customer interactions.

25,75, and 100 yard lanes, so it’s like 3 ranges integrated to one big building.Super Friendly Staff.Rental Guns are in like new condition. Lots of guns available.(all rifles are featureless)They are also a dealer, sells guns, ammo and gears. The fanciest range I have every seen, it’s my favorite already. Some other reviews mentioned they don’t offer eye and ear pros? I, as a pro, have my owns, so it is never a problem for me

We were looking an indoor range with better ventilation than the Oceanside w normally go to. This place did not disappoint! Very professional, nice selection of weapons and accessories. Also loved that they have resources to help guide you to apply for concealed carry permit. Will definitely be back!!

My time was cut short because of the next guy's reservation. Nicest facilities in San Diego County. 100yd indoors.
