Always pay it forward.
This store has a great staff. They are friendly and welcoming.
The place is clean and very organized.
Sometimes you'll find a needle in the haystack. Just need to be patient.

The prices here are insane. Not only that, a lot of things dont have prices. The workers also get mad if you go in the back of the store but there's NO sign telling you you cant. Maybe put a sign before getting mad at customers for going back there. We also tried to buy a sheet but told us they cant sell sheets due to bed bugs. The sheet was sitting on towels and other bedding their allowed to sell. Makes total sense.

Three things that I value the most about any thrift stores are:
1) Cleanliness: The store was very clean and everything was organized for a thrift store. They staff are always rehanging the clothes to make it more presentable.
2) Prices: The prices on the items are great. Found some great pieces of clothes for $4.99-$6.99. As for the larger items, its all reasonably priced and tested.
3) Employees: Every time I go to this store, the employee are always very nice and willing to assist and engage in conversations. Jessica, one of the store Assist Manager is amazing. She was very approachable and went out of her way to help me out with a TV. Also, Aaron was incredible. He helped me off load my donations in the back of the building and always made me feel welcome when I donate my items.
Highly recommend this Salvation Army Store. Its probably the better ones in all of San Diego County.

Went to drop off items for donation. Pull up guy says I’m not going to take any more for an hour. Went back looked on the what they won’t take. One of my things on there. Lady says we don’t take bed frames tables must be put together don’t take tv stands . You try to do a good deed and now they tell you what they will take. The sad thing I was donating a. Wry old antique mirror and frame. Antique shop said worth $700. Oh well to bad for them

For some reason this has become the most expensive Salvation store in all of San Diego!
Prices used to be very fair for used items. Now their items are all like priced like new and they have the most items I've ever seen them have. Why don't they go back to their old prices they would clear up space! I don't get it. The Goodwill in RB is cheaper now.

Prices are insane for used damaged products that they get for free. I recommend buying cheaper and newer items from home goods. People use to go here to find deals and save money instead now you get hosed by high prices.
$14.00 for a used drinking glass seems a little steep.

I love this thrift store and have been coming here for years. However, I've noticed significant price hikes in my last few trips. Please bring back decent prices. I shouldn't be paying $20 for a slightly damaged used wicker basket ?

I rarely leave reviews for businesses. Everyone has an off day and I get that. But I feel it is necessary to let other women know about the man with the small ponytail taking donations at the Poway location. He walked away as I drove up. I got out to ask where I should put the donations but he had vanished. I walked back to my car, he reappears and starts yelling at me because I parked in a parking spot and was about to carry a box to the donation bins. He was aggressive and threatening as he screamed at me to move my car closer to the bins. It was a hardcore overreaction to the situation. I got back in my car and drove to Goodwill. Women, DO NOT GO TO THE BACKSIDE OF THIS LOCATION ALONE! This guy is not stable.

When a phone automated message says you’re taking donations until 7pm, guess what people are going to try and do….
Not cool for a person who works there, rides his bike, gets upset and angrily removes his helmet to start YELLING at individuals after being told we could place items in the red bin.
So big THUMBS UP to the not so kind gentleman with a mohawk. Clearly you’ve had a rough day but MAN your customer service skills sir, you need therapy.

This store is near and dear to my heart! Out of all the thrift stores I’ve been to, this one is my favorite. Great selection and variety of items at such great prices. Also, the staff is so kind and hard-working! That is what keeps me coming back. Great people. Love it here

Used to come here all the time. I will not be returning anymore. Basically has nothing but clothes left. Has gone downhill over the past few years.
