“We are very happy with this preschool! Our son attended for two years, and during this time we saw a huge improvement in his development. The teachers are caring, attentive, and truly love working with children — they always know how to find the right approach for each child.
The atmosphere at the preschool is warm and calm, and the children feel safe and excited to come every morning. We especially appreciated that they focus not only on learning, but also on social skills, independence, and creativity.
Over these two years, our son made great friends, became more confident, and developed a real interest in learning. We are very grateful to the entire staff for their dedication and professionalism. We highly recommend this preschool to other parents!”

“We had a fantastic experience with this preschool and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are attentive and genuinely invested in the children. They know every child by name and make them feel seen and cared for.

Our toddler has a big personality, but one of the things that impressed me most was seeing how equally thoughtful the staff were with quieter children. They truly notice and respond to each child as an individual.

We left only because our family moved, and saying goodbye was truly difficult. We are so grateful for the care, kindness, and sense of community they gave our son and our family. We miss this place so much already!”

“Elm Park Preschool Academy has been such a big part of our kids growth snd development over the past 4 years that we truly cannot say enough good things about the wonderful teachers and nurturing environment!

The teachers are so kind and friendly and are really good at making kids feel a sense of belonging. They greet kids at drop-off with the warmth and care that the transition from home sometimes requires. They listen to kids stories with wonder and interest and they support them with navigating big emotions with patience and attentiveness.

We saw so much academic growth during our kids time in the preschool classroom. My oldest would come home from Ms. Elli’s class (now the director) eager to share what he had learned. His preparedness with letters, numbers, counting, addition, sight words etc. gave him so much confidence going into TK.

We are so grateful to have found Elm Park Preschool Academy! Now both of our kids are off to elementary school, sad to leave, but very well-prepared.”

“We can't say enough good things about Kiddies Korner! We've been sending our kids there for 3 years now, we started in the baby room and moved up to the toddler class. Our kids get unconditional love, amazing care, the most incredible teachers we can ask for! The center is open all year long and the summer program is so fun for the kids! It's so great for parents who work full time and need reliable care for their kids. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies! Shout out to Ms. Whazi, Shima, Mou, Diana, Lauren, and Mimi!”

“Phenomenal preschool and staff! I would say the best in Poway, honestly. Ms. Thea is so caring, kind, and compassionate, yet she holds everything down with such amazing strength and equity. Ms. Thea is one of the best directors I have ever worked with, and her staff are all equally as awesome. Ms. Katie, Ms. Emily, Ms. Love, Ms. Davies, Ms. K, Ms. Rebecca, and Ms. Jessica are all absolutely hilarious, hard-working, compassionate, sweet, fun, and such a joy to be around/work with.

This preschool deserves so much more recognition, as it has so much fun and engaging outdoor activities for the children, and it visually looks like a preschool out of a fairy tale. The children are all so happy, loved and taken care of here with real, genuine love from all of the staff.”

“Where do I start. Our daughter Arianna started Legacy when she was almost 4 years old. (our daughter has been in this school for roughly a year and half) She wasn't fully speaking in sentences just single words. The reason we had switched her is I knew she needed to be in an aggressive learning environment in which she could thrive and learn from other children. And wow! The school delivered more than I ever expected. Mrs. Katie the director knows so much about every child and how they are growing and developing in her program. My daughter's teachers Mrs. Beverly, Ms. Alice and now Mrs. Priscilla, have done such an amazing job with our daughter. Our daughter has such a strong personality and a willed spirit but the teachers set clear boundaries and even Mrs. Katie helped us implement some of the techniques that were used in the classroom we implemented at home to help our daughter with some of her behavioral struggles. Our daughter has made such strides and improvements since starting Legacy, she is now fully reading chapter books, doing double digit math and working independently. Our goal for her this year in kindergarten, is to continue improving in her studies and work hard with developing her penmanship and improve more in her math. We were overwhelmed when we toured the campus because there were children who were 3/4 and 5 years old doing math at a level of 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. In our minds we felt the school was to advanced and our child was way behind her peers. However, Mrs.Katie is right, they work with each child at the place where they are and help develop them individually. They don't pressure nor do they put unrealistic expectations on your child. Trust when I tell you, your child will rise to the occasion an surprise you! if you stick with the school and work in the areas at home where your child needs additional improvement they will be doing and working at the same levels the other children are working at in no time. Consistency and patience is key. Listen to the teachers, ask questions through the procare app which the teachers will respond fairly quickly if you have any questions and or concerns. During progess report time, not only are these teachers accessing your child academically, but they are also assessing your child mentally on areas like age appropriate growth and development. The reports are extremely detailed and let's you know which areas you can help your child to continue to grow in. I have never In all my years of having my son in school ( i.e. college prep school), whom is now 24, accessed in the way this school have accessed Arianna which is a very good thing. These teachers care tremendously about each and every student and they definitely prayed over our child. Our child is a completely different person than when she started. Don't be intimidated, give your child the best academic foundation for their future. I'm so blessed that Mrs. Katie and her teachers had the patience and love to work with our daughter and us to make her a better student and a more rounded out loving child.”

“We’ve been with Children's Preschool & Learning for over 7 years, and it’s been a positive experience for both my kids. The staff is kind, reliable, and takes the time to get to know each child and family. My kids have always felt safe and supported, and I've seen them grow in so many ways.

The school has a wonderful diversity of families and teachers with different backgrounds, which has been a great experience for my kids. When it was time for my oldest to transition into kindergarten, the preschool was a huge help in making sure everything went smoothly.

The location is also very convenient with plenty of parking, which makes pick-ups and drop-offs hassle-free. Highly recommend if you're looking for a preschool you can trust.”
