I have been to this coffee shop several times years ago. It was nice when it first opened but the service has always been cold and slightly unwelcoming. I came recently and ordered a croissant and coffee. The pastry was stiff, as if it was a day or so old. The coffee was fine. Service was as bland as unwelcoming as before. What I did find upsetting was, while watching the coffee being made, one of the baristas picked up each cup with her fingers inside of it. I didn’t not see her wash her hands before making the coffee. Also, the bathroom is in need of a scrubbing. The faucets had rings of mildew around them as well as the toilet. I couldn’t see the floor as the room is painted black.I realize this is locally owned and I like supporting small businesses, however, cleanliness and basic hygiene should be addressed soon.

It's an okay place. The coffee was decent, but not great. The brunch food was okay as well. Nothing exceptional. Really good service though.

I’ve been to every coffee shop in Poway. This one is now my top two.Plenty of parking and has seating inside and outside. There are monthly specials. I got the Oatmeal Cookie Latte. Had the right amount of sweetness and creaminess from the oat milk.

The coffee is great. Sat outside, on a bench, under trees talking for almost 2 hours. Fantastic atmosphere for talking about life and the pursuit of happiness.

Having visited The King's Craft Coffee in Poway a few times now, it's evident that this is a charming spot that skillfully merges a beautiful, minimal interior with a touch of nature. The limited indoor seating is compensated by a captivating and minimalistic ambiance. The interior, featuring a unique "waterfall"-like backdrop of their logo, adds a modern and visually pleasing element to the space. It creates a tranquil atmosphere, complementing the overall design. The outdoor seating area remains a standout, surrounded by trees and offering a nature-inspired escape. It's an ideal setting for savoring your coffee while immersed in a serene environment. Despite the restricted indoor space, the allure of the beautiful outdoor area more than compensates. The last time I visited, I enjoyed one of their breakfast sandwiches and did a watercolor painting while sitting outside on one of their benches. Plus, the trees nearby provide good shade :).Parking is convenient, with ample space available, making the overall experience stress-free. The absence of tight spots is especially welcome during peak hours. On my visits, I had a chance to try one of their seasonal drinks (a latte infused with peaches and cream) and an iced hazelnut vanilla latte. The peaches and cream was different, but also not a favorite, while the hazelnut vanilla was standard. The staff, both knowledgeable and friendly, contributes to the overall welcoming atmosphere. It's worth noting that the pricing at The King's Craft Coffee is average compared to other local coffee shops. While it falls on the higher end of the price scale, the quality of its offerings justifies the cost. Expect to spend around $15 per person for a drink, a treat, and a tip. The unique prepaid items board adds an interesting touch, occasionally offering a surprise freebie based on others' prepaid selections. While the interior seating is limited, the anticipation of expansion, possibly within the same complex, adds an exciting element. I look forward to seeing The King's Craft Coffee evolve into an even more inviting space. In conclusion, The King's Craft Coffee is a fantastic choice for those seeking a nature-infused coffee experience with a side of delicious treats. The combination of a beautiful, minimal interior and a serene outdoor setting makes it a unique and worthwhile visit. With pricing in line with other local coffee shops, a 5/5 star review is certainly possible--I just need a few more visits to fully appreciate the charm of this delightful spot! 4/5 stars for now.

First walking in, the vibe was super adorable and there was plenty of seating. Ordered a latte which was pretty good and the turkey swiss Sandwich, which came with a bag of chips! After sitting down, we noticed it was a little dirty, as there were a bunch flies around us and we also had to wipe the table down because there was some leftover food. The food and drinks came out pretty fast but sadly after eating a few bites of my sandwich I noticed some bugs in the lettuce and ended up throwing away the lettuce and ate the rest of the sandwich. There was also some really loud country music playing, which made it hard to focus even with noise-cancelling headphones on. But this was only for the first hour and a half so after that the ambience became a lot nicer. This may have been an off-day as this was our first time and besides the pests it was still a nice experience.

Laid back atmosphere here at this fine coffee shop. Coffee is amazing and the cold drinks too. Tried it a few times and my favorite spot is the sofa.

TKC is cozy & tucked into the back of a shopping center. The pictures were taken from one of their leather lounge chairs, which provided a comfortable spot for me for the 3+ hrs I was there. Located next to soccer fields and a dance studio, there are lots of families and young children coming through for coffee and snacks. It was quiet and calm for majority of the time I was there, making it a great place to settle into work. The cold brew was fantastic, smooth and had a good flavor to it. The Cuban sandwich was alright, the bread got a bit soggy after a few mins & was more tart than I normally enjoy.
