Hello everyoneFirst and for most hopefully everyone is well. I made an appointment to check my brakes because they were squeaking. The service lady told me it’s your front brakes so we change them. Few weeks go bye and I notice my brakes are still squeaking so I made another appointment. After the exam in my car, they told me your rear brakes also needs to be changed so they change them. A few days later I noticed my brakes were still squeaking, so I made an appointment for them to check it out. They said some sort of error and fix my brakes again. A few days later, my brakes were still squeaking. I called and asked the manager for help but he never called me back. I asked the service lady for help. She never help me as well..as a single mom this is very hard for me, the service lady tried to say that I break really hard maybe that’s why. This was my first time changing breaks in this car after five years, so I doubt that I’m breaking crazy or driving like a crazy person the mistake they made They tried to blame me for it.I have purchased three cars from Toyota brand-new. And this is how they treat a loyal customer… it has cost me time and money to come to this place three times and not get my car fixed properly which should be done?Sincerely

1) I have purchased Toyotas in past years from Toyota of Poway (Corolla) and Toyota of Carlsbad (Prius). I used the Costco Auto Program in 2008 for the Corolla I bought at Toyota of Poway. Recently I was in a car accident and my Toyota Prius was totaled, so I decided to try the Costco Auto Program to purchase a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. I received the purchase document from Costco. Soon afterwards, I received a phone call from a Toyota of Poway representative. She informed me the vehicle I had requested was in high demand so I could take a white RAV4 that was available and only if I put down a deposit. Her attitude was, "take it or leave it." I said, "I know it is a dealer's market at present, but are you really not offering me any options?" The reply: "That is your option." My reply: "Thank you for the call, I guess, but I decline."2) I ended up using the Costco Auto Program to purchase a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid, Sport Utility version. I took delivery on October 27, 2023, just days after I was contacted by the Honda dealership. I had a very pleasant buying experience with their friendly, courteous staff who treated me like a valued customer. It was the opposite of my experience with Toyota of Poway. 3) Based on my recent experience with Toyota of Poway, I may never purchase a Toyota again.

Finally I have time to write about my last experience. I have two Toyotas and both of them I bought from Toyota of poway. And all this time, all services was done by Toyota of poway , they did good service for my cars and I was paying for it without regret. But my last service experience was terrible, I went there for 2022 Toyota Highlander. I needed oil change and tire rotation. First they tried selling tires to me for $1200, I said no. I knew my tires was good for another 15000 miles ( this is not my first car). After service they told me they not gonna do tire rotation cause my tires so bad and requires only replacement. Adviser JD wasn't helpful at all . Told me they are professionals and this is the reason they're not working with such bad tires , only replacement. WTF. I'm paying for this service , so just do what I'm paying for. This is not how you treat long time customer ... TRIED AGGRESSIVE MOVE OF SALE TOWARDS ME... terrible service... will not recommend to anyone.... Never will buy anything from TOYOTA OF POWAY AGAIN Pics of my so "bad" tires attached

I just brought in my new Toyota for it's initial service. I could not have been happier. Thanks to Mike Lewis in the Service department I had a wonderful experience with a speedy, professional and courteous department. I would happily recommend this dealership for their efficient service department. Thanks, Mike!

Really disappointed with the service department experience we had this week. My wife took her Rav4 in for a tire rotation and they topped off her oil while they were at it, which was great. Unfortunately, when she got home she mentioned that the car really smelled like oil and when we popped the hood we found that the oil cap wasn't replaced. Something I might expect from a discount oil change, not the dealership.Fortunately, oil level was still high, we were able to eventually find the cap on the floor of the engine bay, and no damage was done aside from the big mess the oil made. We called the service department, thinking mistakes happen (although this is kind of a big one...) and no damage was done so no reason to make a stink about it, we'd just like to have the oil mess cleaned up for us at a minimum to make things right. They were shocked at what happened and agreed to detailing the engine bay and checking the cabin air filter, which we very much appreciated.Unfortunately, what we got was far less than promised. I got home after taking the car in and popped the hood again to find that oil splatters were still obvious on the engine cover, and oil was still present on the underside of the hood. The invoice said clean the oil rather than detail the bay which was disappointing, but would have been acceptable had they actually done that. When I called back and explained what I found there was little support and no interest in seeing pictures I had taken that showed the poor cleaning. He did say I could bring the car in again, but that "they would just be doing the same thing again". I'll just wipe it down myself at this point.I can't recommend a service center careless enough to forget to replace an oil cap and considers this to be detailing the engine bay.

Can’t recommend Toyota of Poway highly enough. Went to buy a new car and was linked to them through Costco’s Car Buying Program. I worked with Irma who is the best!! She was super informative, communicative, and made this whole process easy and seamless. If you need a car, go here, ask for Irma, you’ll be in great hands.

Toyota of Poway listed a 2003 Corvette for sale for $28,848. Cargurus says that price is too high and is about $5k more than the KBB value. I offered to buy it at $25k total with all fees included (which is pretty much KBB value plus all fees). Salesman, Valerie, replied via text stating that the car still hasn't gone through inspection. After the inspection, they'd let me know if my offer would be accepted. That made zero sense to me. So you're going to price a vehicle and list it for sale BEFORE you know if there's anything wrong with it??? If not, the price will remain or may even increase? But if there's something terribly wrong, then yeah.... We'll accept your offer??? That's a horrible sales tactic and needless to say.... HORRIBLE customer service. After inspection, they declined my offer.

The service department got my repair right the first time. A little expensive. But good quality service. Later their staff helped me mount license plate brackets so it would look right, centered, symmetrical. Free. We like it here. I have bought cars here in the past. Good experience each time. But like all car dealers you have to firmly say "no" to add ons at the end of the deal when signing the contract or the price will go up by the thousands, needlessly.

Called Poway Toyota and let them know my father in law worked for Toyota and asked them if they participated in the employee program, they said no which is no problem but then got a call back from the assistant manager saying that they do! Drove down there to order the car and got told they actually don’t do that and Toyota took the ability away from them to do that. Was told we have to go to head quarters in Irvine to order the car and can have it delivered to poway. Drove to Irvine to order the car and was told that the dealership is lying to us and that head quarters does NOT do that and basically the dealership is lying to us because they don’t want to help is. So wasted TONS of time when the simply could have said we don’t want to help you get a new car. Don’t waste your time if you need to order something.

Took my daughter's car in for installation of alarm system that she purchased and to check an airbag recall. Work was completed. However, TJ service advisor never returned our phone calls. Had to call him several times and received no call back. When I picked up the vehicle it was returned filthy. No car wash or clean up. Not happy with this dealership. Will not return.

I want to start off by saying, Jessica in service is the best. Always friendly and helpful. I like going to her. But getting your car serviced here takes a long time. This review is just on the slow service here. For an oil change and tire rotation, we were told hour and a half to two hours. Jessica sold us a Toyota package for 5 oil changes for $315 (which was a deal), with it we got a free car wash. We ended up dropping off my car (had a 7:40am appt) to run errands. Figured we had 2 hours. Three and a half (maybe four) hours later, we called to see if my car was ready. Jessica said that they were just finishing up. Got the car back pass 11am, and uh no car wash. Just a 3 and a half to four hour oil change and tire rotation. Honestly this has been the slowest Toyota Dealership to service cars, and I've been here a good handful of times.

Five stars across the board! I cannot say enough good things about Toyota of Poway, their service department and my service advisor Corey.I arrived late for my appointment and Corey greeted me, was able to work my vehicle back into the schedule and even had it washed to a level that I would consider a light detail.I grew up in a time that dealerships were shied away from because of the gouge. Not the case here. Superior customer service, excellent work and fair pricing.I recommend Toyota of Poway and I would encourage you to do two things.1. Show up on time for your appointment2. Ask for Corey to be your service advisor- you will not be disappointed

I don't think I can give any car dealership a 5-star review, so this is as good as it gets. Consider it a 4.5.I paid a fair price for a used car that was in (seemingly) excellent condition. Only time will tell if that is the reality. I WOULD give my sales agent (Lionel) 5-stars, however. He is very friendly, professional, and didn't pressure me into making any decisions.I would probably buy a car from them again.
