I had a quick turn around van rental and Toby was awesome. He had me in and out in a hurry, without making me feel rushed. He answered my questions about supplies, walked around the van with me, pointing out the newness of it. He clearly takes pride in what he does and is good at it. Thank you, Toby!

Called 3 times to make sure they had 30 lb propane tanks/ drove over an hour out of our way & waited while one employee was just playing on their phone to find out they didn't have the items we called to confirm they had. Staff should know merchandise especially when being put on hold to check. Highly unfortunate & frustrating.

The truck provided to me did not match with contract information. Mileage was incorrect, Gas tank was not full. Had to spend an hour to customer service to explain the issue so I won't get charged for 1/2 tank of gas.$19.50/day actually cost me almost $80 for 2 hours.Worst experience I've ever had with uHaulNever recommend this location and uHaul in general to anybody.Biggest scam for truck rental.

I had rented a unit in the past from this Poway location *a number of years ago and back then a guy who helped me a lot - who was an Asian guy - was GREAT. So recently I decided to go back for more storage space that I needed. Unfortunately, it took DAYS to get anyone to help me, the server (???) was down or not taking my payment and the website was not showing what actually was available, customer service on the phone kept telling me to talk to the office directly but no one was helpful at all in the office. I repeatedly was talking to the "manager" whose name is Jose but let's just say it's not real American customer service friendly nor was he knowledgeable at all - actually had a smirk on his face while talking and was arrogant and rude. Because of so much trouble online, I had to drive to the location over and over, (3 times over several days) to try to get help and each time the manager, Jose, was there but was giving me info that was not right, nor was he helpful. Very unfriendly, almost smirky while conveying info and actually seems to be kind of a jerk. Finally, finally, after going there and trying for 3 days I got a guy named TOBY ANDERS (an American) who was actually the one who saved my account. One, he provided me with my two locks that the website promised (if the website was actually working) and even said "to put it on his account" in order to help me out despite the other non-helpful employee behind the desk who was signing me up. If it wasn't for *TOBY ANDERS* who is not the manager (even though this is the kind of good customer service representative we need again here in the UNITED STATES), I would not be renting from them ever again. I talked to Mr. Anders later and thanked him profusely for helping me out. What a nightmare this place has become, *except for Mr. Anders. I hope UHAUL hasn't completely sold out but it looks like they are 98% there. Seriously UHAUL you need an American overhaul. Take heed people.
