Been shopping here for 20+ years and the clientele- believe it or not- has gone wayyy down hill. Beware of each item you buy. I saw two employees fulfilling orders on the laundry aisle completely ignoring a customer stealing. And not just stealing from Walmart but pouring laundry detergent from one bottle to another bottle to fill it to the top. rendering the other bottle almost empty, for someone else to get ripped off with. Last night I purchased a set of 20 crayola markers for my kids after much deliberation (I'm on an extremely tight budget) and when we got home and opened the box- both 10 packs were gone and someone had shoved a 10 pack of the "tropical" colors in the 20 pack box. What a waste of money. Security needs to be beefed up and certain people need to be excluded from entering the store. And on that note- the vendors hounding you in front of the store doors are so pushy. Feels like a third world country and you're about to get scammed. Absolutely hate it. And hate that our senior community has to put up with the degenerate behavior from unsavory patrons.

Terrible staff. Some are just outright rude and ignore questions from customers. Terrible experience going inside. Curbside pick up is okay.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but can the kids who work in curbside make sure that the order is correct before loading it? I had an order this morning and the boy who loaded my car missed four pretty large items out of my order. I didn't notice until I was putting everything away at my home in Spring Valley (too far to just turn around). Now I have to go through obstacles to get my money back. A while pain in the butt. If you do curbside, check your bags before you leave cause these kids don't care about their job, and when you call to get the problem resolved they act like YOU did something shady. Super annoyed. So now I'm out $40 and without the items I paid for.

What horrible customer service. Their website said they had six batteries in the size I needed. I kept trying to find someone to help. The button you push to get help didn't seem to work. I kept flagging down employees. They couldn't help me. After the longest time I just gave up and left.

I went in to the Walmart in Poway the other night to use my ebt thru the Walmart site kinda like tap and pay but you don't tap you just pay with your ebt card that is added to the list of different payment options on their site. After swiping every item I had I go to pay and it wouldn't go thru. This worker name perla forgive me if I'm spelling it wrong went above and beyond trying to help me figure out how to try and make it work. I lost my ebt card and I won't be able to get another one till after the holidays so I figured that the stores that advertise that you can use your ebt through Walmart , door dash , and instacart would be pretty easy, WRONG!! But the manager Perla dedicated herself time to helping me try to figure it out. I would recommend that anyone if your having any issues at the Walmart in Poway go to her. Thanks perla

I had an exceptional shopping experience at Walmart, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Manager KHALED. His kindness, helpfulness, and gentlemanly demeanor truly stood out. Additionally, cashier Rosemarie was incredibly patient and helpful, making my visit seamless. Kudos to the team for making Walmart a great place to shop!

Went here after a really long time. A big mistake. Nothing has improved here. Zero class and no customer service. Kind of how Costco Carmel Mountain branch is on its way to becoming.

I went shopping this evening in Walmart. I found Cirkul pruducts in the clearance section of the store on the wall. The cartridges and the other tops, and of course the starter set as well. I went to the register to purchase one starter set and two of the grape and two of the tangerine flavor cartridges. When I got upnthe the register I was told the cartridges were marked down but the kit was not. I asked to see a manager and instead of calling them over for me, I was told I could go to the service desk. I spoke with a nice manager, Perla, and she checked with someone who told us that they were not on clearance and it must be an error. I walked over and showed Perla all the inventory that was on the shelf and that only a few of the Cirkul items had the yellow clearance tags on them, a few of the upgraded lids and a few of the cartridges. I asked if there was anything that could be done, and was told sorry. Perla took a picture as well so whoever she was texting could see this and have someone move all the starter kits. All of my time spent for your store benefit.I am recovering from diabetes and I am very limited in what I eat and drink, so this was something of a treat for me since I drink over a gallon of water a day a work.If you see this and can do anything, please contact me, as I would appreciate it.

I used to work here from September 2021-October 2022. I would like to say Coach Justin was a really good coach very good at dealing with customers as well as associates when he worked at poway Walmart. I'm not sure what Walmart he is at now but I hope to eventually see coach Justin again at poway Walmart.

hoy agosto primero, fui a waltmart, casi no voy a la tienda porque tengo hijos y las que son mamás saben que difícil es ir a la tienda con niños pequeños.. hoy fui agarre verduras y frutas pague con wic y con debito, cuando ya me dirigia a la salida, una mujer de esas mujeres que traen la cabeza tapada me detubo le hizo cariños a mi bebe y le di mi recivo, empezo a preguntarme que porque escanie todo por pieza, le pregunte a que te refieres con eso, lo importante es que pague cual es el problema? se hizo la loca me ignoro diciendo lo mismo que pague por pieza miro que llevaba unas cherries y le llamo ah alguien mas y me dijo que donde en el revico salia que pague eso que no estaba ahi. cuando ami lo que me salio en el recivo solo fueron 4 piezas de papel, me dijo que buscara donde salia las cherries a lo que yo le dije que no salia pero que si lo page y no era mi culpa que me saliera el recivo partido en 4 papeles, despues vino otra señora mi hija empezo a llorar porque es niña pequeña y ahi seguia la mujer diciendome que porque page separado y le dije que yo no tengo la culpa que vendan cada fruta o verdura por pieza, despues llamaron ah alguien mas entonces ya me empeze a molestar porque estaba tratando de hacer como que yo me havia robado unas cherries.. tu cres que me voy a rrobar unas cherries de 5 dolares y algo? si me robara algo me robaria algo que no me pudiera comprar, para tu desgracia no tengo necesidad de robarme nisquiera lo mas mínimo.. honestamente waltmart debes de hablar con tu gente de no acusar a las personas de robar unas cherries de 6 dolaresy algo.. osea por 6 y algo dolares que despues vino una señora que me estaba ayudando a traer un recivo completo donde salio todo lo que page.. jamas en mi pinche vida regreso a ese waltmart me senti que estaba siendo racista conmigo porque soy mexicana cuando paso un señor al que nisikiera le chekio el ticket y era guerito y aparte me estaba casi diciendo que me robe algo.. por dios... aqui la prueba de que page todas mis cosas sin robarme nada y aparte como me paro en la entrada y pasaba la gente y todos se me quedaban viendo como si me hubiera robado algo, me humillaron enserio y creo que solo por eso no regreso aqui

Giving one star review due to the unprofessionalism and rudeness of a "team lead" associate. Went in to make a return with a friend and was met with associates who either didn't know what they were doing or who were unwilling to be any sort of help. David who is a "team lead" only escalated our frustration with our return by giving us attitude and a snarky tone when answering why we couldn't return our item. He offered no further assistance to our situation and told us that it's up to the store's discretion, that he's not accepting the return and walked away. Thankfully we were met with Juliet, another team lead, out on the sales floor who immediately listened and escalated our situation to coach Amber and we were able to make our return with David who turned us away the first time around. As a former retail store manager of 6 years, I was disappointed in the attitude and tone of voice we were given by David at the customer service counter and his lack of wanting to help us, especially from someone who is in a leadership position. I do not think David lived up to Walmarts 4 core values of respect, service, excellence, and integrity during this interaction and needs further training on how to handle customers properly without him being the reason for customer escalation. Huge shout out to Juliet for being there for us, understanding our situation and making things right!

Door greeter: she was rude. Customer service desk worker: she was rude. Self checkout worker: rude. Exit receipt checker: rude. I interacted with a total of four employees while at this Walmart location, and was not once treated with courtesy. Not surprise three of the employees had their badge turned backwards. Wonder why?

What in the ghetto Walmart...who puts air mattresss behind lock and key? Waited 15 minutes because nobody responded to the pager in front of the glass display. Tried calling the store, but nobody answered the phone. Walked over to electronics, and they said they would page someone. Five minutes later they showed up. Manager at this store needs to be fired.

My mom was trying to return something we bought from here online. Nobody knew how to do it, like 3 people tried and they didn't know how. The manager was so disrespectful and rude to others. In the end, they couldn't rlly do anything they just told me to go to staples to return it. WEIRD! They blamed us for coming here to return it. They said "the system changed." I believe that's just an excuse for their incompetence.

Poor customer service by Evelyn at Walmart on Thursday at 4:58 pm in the customer service. We were returning a couple of things that didn't work out for us. She turned and told one of her coworkers that Walmart needs to change the return policy. They use it and return it. First of all is she the owner of Walmart? Did she creat the return policy here? She's just an employee and is giving us bad wrap to her coworker. This is discrimination on her part. First to speak in her language to the lady and then to translate it in English for me to hear. If your product is not good quality or it is defective I'm going to return it. It's my right. So please don't assume and don't discriminate towards the customer.
