“Update- The "manager" (I thought) in my previous review is actually the supervisor and her name is Angie. Although, she wasn't helpful (I haven't forgotten her rude customer service).. But I am changing my review to reflect the entire store (overall) and not just my one experience with Angie. I do still like going to this ROSS because I've been helped by other workers who were kind & helpful. I also like how open it is and fairly organized.”
“I’m so thankful that I found Fancy Stop before attending my first Indian wedding! I went in hoping for guidance and left with two beautiful outfits, along with jewelry. The alterations were done in the store and I was able to pick up the next day. I cannot recommend this store enough. It has both an incredibly wide selection of clothing and also very kind employees.”

“Summer concerts in the park at Carmel Mountain Plaza are a relaxing and fun way to meet your neighbors. The band sets up on the sidewalk in front of Barnes and Noble. There is outside seating (tables/chairs/umbrellas/retaining wall) but many bring their own folding chairs or picnic blankets (for the grass). It's an enjoyable evening eating a picnic dinner, listening to the music and watching the sunset. Some are even moved to dance on the impromptu dance floor on the sidewalk.”

“Absolutely the best place to shop for a prom or formal occasion dress! They look small but can order a dress from a ton of catalogs very quickly. The owner is fabulous at helping you pick what color and style would look best and then tailors it to perfection. Love, love, love this place.”

“I was trying on a variety of clothes and the man working the dressing room was absolutely amazing. (His name might've been Octavian but I'm horrible with names). He helped me build a whole outfit. I ended up buying way more than I originally came here for, but it made such a great outfit I can't complain. I would've never mixed and matched those pieces of clothing together on my own. I used to use a personal stylist at the Macys in UTC, but she recently retired, I wish I could hire this man to shop with me everywhere he was so helpful.”
“Went in to use mailed in coupons, & Willow made sure I was satisfied with all my pick-ups. Even though they didnt have my size.. she was the only one to offer it being mailed directly to my home & it came in a couple days! “The owner is kind and honest. He explains everything really well. He was patient with me during a time that I was very stressed out. His tailor fixed my lehenga and it fit great. He had me come in and I tried it on and the tailor made adjustments until it was perfect. They also helped pick out jewelry and had good options. Neethu the threading eyebrow lady was also very nice and skilled. I am picky about my eyebrows and I was satisfied with the result and the time she took to assess my eyebrows before starting.”

“Loft—-classic elegance at your fingertips! Staff is top notch gracious professionalism. They found me the right fit so I could compare with what I ordered online and had shipped to the store. Mall directories were off and staff kindly gave me a few routes to get to Loft.

“I'm surprised no one has reviewed Aloha Scent. This place is cool. It's tucked away in the Village at Mira Mesa Mall. I remember when the store opened it was mostly candles. Now the owner, Kimi, has lots of various items. She has handmade Hawaiian dresses, backpacks, wallets, her staple candles, and other cool items.Kimi, the owner is super sweet and has a contagious laugh. I went to get a candle. It smelled really good. I went back to get another candle and my daughter loved her backpacks. We got a hello kitty backpack and my daughter went everywhere. She showed everyone her backpack. "Look at my backpack". She is so proud of that thing.Go to Aloha Scent and buy something cool. At least check it out. There aren't any other island shops like this in the area.”
