“What an incredibly wonderful secret, hidden in plain sight. I’ve loved four miles away from the Elkhorn Slough Reserve for over fifty years and have never stepped foot inside. Why did I wait? Why did I waste so many precious years not enjoying the beauty and serenity? I’ll never know. But I am so glad that today, I decided to take my three year old toddler out for a walk to burn some energy. Burn some, we did.If you’re just into fresh air and exercise, you’ll love it. If you’re I to bird watching or nature photography, you’ll love it. If you want to learn about the Slough’s ecosystem and animals, you’ll love it. If you’re allergic to beauty and awe, you’ll hate it.Sincerely, I’m not even sure I want to post this review because I’d love for this absolutely 100% free hidden jewel remains so. But God didn’t make beauty like this for just a handful of people to enjoy. There are picnic areas and even restrooms along the trails. So there’s no excuse not to make your day better and visit Elkhorn Slough Reserve.”

“This establishment hosted our yearly Bowling Awards dinner. I can see that this is a great community establishment where many events occur. The hall that we used sat around 70 people, with much more room for others. They have a full kitchen and bar. This place is normally a members-only establishment. Our event was a success and I would greatly recommend this establishment for others if they need space for events.”

“This is our 3rd year using 1 of a Kind Fundraising and they make it so simple. We tried cookie dough right before we did their sweets and treats and we did double of theirs as opposed to the cookie dough. Give them a try. It's very simple.”

“Start going. Restart that Old Friendship. After about a year. I can't remember when they had to close. But I'm glad they're open. I've seen a few faces from last year. Thank you Emanuel, for remembering my name So quickly. Good memory, And Concierge Skills. Thank you YMCA Staff, for always being there for my family, and myself all these years. “Goodwill Central Coast, our local thrift store, isn't just a place to find affordable items; it's a haven of stories waiting to be discovered. Walking through its doors, I couldn't help but feel the anticipation of unearthing hidden treasures and uncovering the narratives behind each item. What makes Goodwill Central Coast unique is its diverse range of items, from vintage clothing and furniture to books and electronics. The thrill lies in the hunt, as you never know what gem you might stumble upon. But beyond the bargains, it's the knowledge that every purchase supports Goodwill's mission to empower individuals in our community through job training and employment services. It's a store with a heart, where shopping is not just about acquiring possessions but also about making a positive impact. In essence, Goodwill Central Coast is a place where thrift meets purpose. It's a reminder that our community's stories intertwine, and by shopping here, we become part of a larger narrative of compassion and support.”

“Nice family place, good for kids and adults alike. It's nice to have a safe place where the kids can go to get exercise and be with other kids. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that music for dance classes is waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too loud, you can hear it out to Moss Landing!”
