Frustrated! This Safeway is out of 2-3 things every single time I order delivery each week. At least 2 X’s a week I order food delivery. Always running out of Fairlife, bad dates on dairy as well. Imagine ordering delivery and repeatedly getting milk, buttermilk, cottage cheese and other dairy products where they are only good for 2-4 days. My Safeway in Salinas I have not had this problem yet I cannot get delivery from my Safeway because of zoning I assume. No good answer. Imagine a product made by the store being out. Tomato basil soup by signature is out in Prunedale yet in Salinas their soup stock is full. Someone is not ordering correctly, no rotating products properly and not making sure employees take the time to read delivery notes, checking dates and caring enough to pick great products for delivery. If Safeway views delivery as subpar then shut it down and don’t waste our time! Consumers deserve better. The uber drivers have left my food at others homes when a call immediately after arrival could have prevented such a problem. Then the absolute nightmare trying to get a refund for a large food order you never even got. This entire system must be changed or updated. Seriously frustrated. I never leave reviews but had to because I know I am not the only one. Management, order inventory properly, make sure employees are properly rotating products because your fruit and produce is the worst I have seen, your dairy is expiring and products are out way too often. Train your shoppers how to read notes and how to shop as if shopping for themselves or family.

I don't understand why sometimes I'm given the chance to substitute items and other times I'm not on pickup orders. Why are the offered online when I've marked in stock only, VERY FRUSTRATING

They really do follow you, felt uncomfortable the whole time everytime I come here they stare me down I almost feel racially profiled. I can’t shop in peace and I’m a ver anxious person!!

Customer service is awful! I’ve heard horror stories. But takes like 10 mins to get someone to correct my receipt . They over charged me with extra milk and it’s like I’m unconvincing them. Seriously ?!! Asked me if I told him at the time of check out.. like I would have if I noticed in time. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here unless it’s an emergency or for Starbucks .

Store has a lot of various items and choices. Prices have unfortunately sky rockeyed due to inflation, so shopping trips at this point are a nightmare on the wallet.
Lines aren't so bad now thanks to self checkout, so you won't have to wait too long to ring up your items.
Also service animal friendly.

Bought salad with expiration date of 3/22 earlier in week. Opened it on 3/20 to eat. Iceberg lettuce was already turning brown. It looked nothing like the picture showing a great looking salad. Would've taken it back to the store but we were eating it for lunch after an appt at Stanford Hospital. Don't recommend Safeway premade salad bowls. (BTW hubby's different salad was the same way except for 3/25 expiration date).
Additional info: As I finished, the last few bites, I bit down on a piece of bone in the meat. (See photo?).
