“This is a roadside motel straight out of the 70's! It has been tastefully updated with some modern things like the heater in the bathroom while keeping to its roots.”
“Built in 1956, this retro 50's motel is clean and comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating staff, run by a husband and wife. We are in town for a motorcycle rally. Many of our attendees are staying at the Lariat Lodge.”
“Recently stayed here on a business trip, it was amazing! Spacious room, too much for me alone but wonderful to be in anyhow. Super quite and central to town, was able to walk to food and coffee. Drives were no further than 5 min away, fully stocked kitchen and quick access to the restaurant/bar downstairs. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“Staff was great, got us into a just cancelled last room during a busy time for train enthusiasts so I was grateful for sure! The room was clean ( but still had tinsel& dust in corners of floor with dark carpet so....) but dated and not in the best shape but not bad. Bed was clean and comfy though! Breakfast next to the office was plentiful with cereals, milk, juice, hardboiled eggs, yogurts, toast, bagels, good coffee and tea and fruits offered. All in all its one of the few places to sleep for miles and it passed criteria for a quick quiet and clean bed. It's a bit high pricedfor what it is( in comparison to bigger cities) but when you are too spontaneous with your road trips what can one expect.. I'd stay again if need be.”

“Great place to stay. Room was clean, updated, and very comfortable. Really enjoyed the porch and chairs outside the rooms. Our room was hot when we got there but the AC worked great and made for a nice night of sleep. I also like that you’re supporting a local family. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.”
