Went there for pumpkins then returned for the haunted house. my girlfriend and I love to go all over San Diego for haunted houses/trails, and this one was incredible. much better than balboa or del mar scream zone. Shorter than most but youll have your adrenaline pumping and heart pounding from before you step in to long after you're done. if you have kids, be sure to go early before the sun is down as it is seriously scary at a near empty farm at night. the production was incredible and ill be urging people to go

Booked for the Craft Fair at this location. The event area and scenery were great. The low low traffic was upsetting especially when told 250-500 people daily. It was by far lower then those numbers. I was very surprised that NO SIGNS were displayed at any major intersections leading to the pumpkin patch. $50 Per Day for a Craft Fair is on the higher end, but at a location with high foot traffic and promotion it's worth it. Neither of those simple expectations were present at this sale. No promotion of a Fair with leading signs displayed, minimal social presentation and very very low traffic. Disappointing. I would hope this business finds this as a learning curve for the next Craft Sale or Vendor Sale. These are small family businesses and $100 for a weekend is a lot. Take Care!

I make an effort to come here every October. Out of all the pumpkin patches in the area I find this one to be the best. What sets it apart is the vast variety of pumpkins. They even have adorable pocket pumpkins! Staff is very accommodating, including the farm dog and kiddos. I always enjoy smashing a pumpkin to feed to the cows. Each year, the decor is unique so it is fun to explore the entire property. Tarot readings, snack bar and a gift shop complete the entire experience. Great for kids, families and child free couples alike. You gotta check this place out!

California Farm Life is the hidden gem of pumpkin season. While it’s a bit of a drive, it’s worth it… (read below for detailed review)1) As one of the largest suppliers to Southern California of pumpkins they pumped out around 1M lbs of pumpkins this year.2) the selection of pumpkins available for choosing is extensive and daunting (in all the good ways)… we spent 30 minutes looking for the “perfect pumpkin”.3) we discovered blue pumpkins and purple pumpkins… the colors are incredible here4) pumpkin fudge will change your life. I mean it. We’re big fudge people and this was life altering. They should sell it in all the stores. I’m dreaming about it still because we finished the container in 2 minutes.5) you can smash pumpkins with a wooden hammer and then feed them to the cows. Repeat. You can smash pumpkins. And feed to cows. This was super cool and the big reason we initially made the decision to drive out (little did we know the rest was in store).6) the people are amazing. Super friendly. Super accommodating. They let us play with their dogs for a long time. Helped our kids feed the lamb which was super cool.7) you get to use a wheel barrow to find your pumpkins. Feels rustic in all the good ways.8) you can ride tractors and drive them around. Super cool.9) lots of decorations and other things to look at.

We had such a wonderful time last weekend at California Farm Life pumpkin patch! Such a fun, relaxing and enjoyable fall experience. The variety of pumpkins was so amazing- so many to choose from and so many different ones we’ve never seen! We also loved checking out the tractors and feeding the cows was the best! The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable and fun ? Plus… multiple prime picture spots too! Couldn’t recommend enough ???

Considering as simple as it is, its a reminder that keeping to the basics works. The cows were fun to feed the pumpkins.

This family owned and operated business is truly amazing. They grow all of their own pumpkins and I have never seen so many different types. You can tell they love the work they do and serving their community makes them happy. Our kiddos loved all the farm equipment they could play in and on. They also had a fun feeding the baby goat some apple cores. It was hot when we went and they have a slushy machine that made everything better. please take time and go support this amazing farm. They are awesome people who care about their work and community!
