Mini Barn Market is a wonderful and really cool little unmanned store located at Red Barn Ranch in Ramona. This 24/7 market is not your typical farmstand. It offers a well-rounded offering of local, fresh, seasonal, natural, and non-GMO items. Customers will find all the stuff not found in a typical grocery store, including unique seasonal produce, fresh baked goods like sourdough, dry goods, ice cream, eggs, and cute gift items like jewelry and soaps. All products are without added hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, or inorganic fertilizers. The market operates on an honor, self-pay system and works with a network of local farm neighbors. Recipes are often attached to produce to show how to use it. There is an LED sign with the owner’s phone number for questions or to check stock, and the owner responds fairly quickly. The super cute shop also has outdoor seating for customers to relax. It is a convenient, fun little store with something for everybody, perfect as a great stop along the way for fresh food after nearby activities.
